Hi to all,

Thought i should get an update on here as its been so long, C has been all wrapped up so what seems like an eternity -

So...Pics below:

 

> The the last time my C was out in anger (Bristol Volks Fest - 10.06.2007!!)

> Bay lacking engine - the valver went to live in a Mk1 Cabrio

> Interior - Clean but nothing exciting

> 17" MOs - Just back from Pristine :)

> G60 Lump awaiting some love and attention prior to install

 

Plans:

> FK Coilovers

> Strip and prep engine bay

> Strip, clean, paint engine and associated parts - new belts, gaskets etc

> FMIC

> Engine upgrades TBC - already has boost ret del, red top injectors, chip and a few other bits i cant remember

Update on recent developments, engine stripped and degreased, head and block prepared for paint; also had a load of parts back from the blasters, primed and ready for paint.

Had a bit of a cull on the growing shopping list - head gasket, head bolts, sump and rocker gaskets delivered 😀

Hi All,

Been away from the C for way to long on other projects and working away, it is now time to get back to running.

Following a bay respray in the wrong colour which i only found once i had stripped all the running gear, the C has been sat on axle stands awaiting new paint. Sick of people painting my car the wrong colour (body is currently MK1 Golf Helios Blue after another bodyshop screw-up), I decided to take it on myself - rattle can styleee.

So, bay now repainted in the right colour; bit of sealer tidying and smoothing along the way, also battery tray delete to make room for FMIC - battery being relocated to the boot.

Hopefully more progress to follow :)

Good effort. Being in the bay rattle can finish is usually ok. Is it still on for a g60 or something else?

G60 is still the plan, few pics below:

> Sub frame blasted, painted, new bushes, ball joints etc

> Engine now mostly rebuilt, new HGasket,cam belt, etc

Meanwhile:

> Stg2 charger sold, new stg4 charger been to OCD for service

> AP coilovers ordered
