sorry for the late reply I've added you to the above 2nd batch list for the longer linkage as requested.

Thank you for your payment for the small linkage,

I'll keep it to one side until the 2nd batch of longer linkages are in.

 

Alex I should be able to do you a discount on the postage cost for the longer linkage,

as you've already payed for the small linkage postage of £4.30,

I'll just ask for an extra £3.00 so the total postage cost will be £7.30 all in.

 

Postage £4.30 PAID (Total is £7.30) = so £3.00 owed.

This is for 1st class signed on delivery.

 

Longer linkage is £20.60 plus the £3.00 = total owed is 23.60

I'll ask for the balance payment once the 2nd batch of longer linkages are in.

I've had confirmation from VW Heritage that the 1ST BATCH order,

of these longer linkages has landed in the UK,

and that I'll be having delivery next week possibly Tuesday 29/04/2014.

 

 

I've also ordered the second batch of longer linkages,

these should be in around early May 2014.

A total of 8 have been ordered.

there are 2 wiper linkages on our RHD Corrado's,

one is the longer linkage which I'm selling,

in this group buy thread here.

And the other is the short linkage,

which I sell on a different thread,

It's normally the small linkage that wears out first,

I'll have a few in stock from Tuesday 29/04/2014

The small linkage is £15.52 plus postage,

postage to Ireland I can do for you,

it would have to be 1st or 2nd class standard,

as that is the cheapest option for you,

cost of this postage would be around £7.85 to £9 max,

and delivery takes 3 to 5 working days to get to you.

 

The longer linkage is £20.60 plus postage,

this linkage falls under the medium weight section,

so it'll be a little more then the small linkage,

possibly £9.99 to £16 max

 

Please let me know which linkage you require,

it does sound like you may need the small one,

as that is the one that wears first.

You may have to lift your bonnet and check,

which linkage you need.

The whole order is correct and complete all 8 long linkages are OEM items,

it was delivered earlier on today,

I've just got back home from work and found the delivered box in my kitchen,

like I say I've checked all items and all are correct brand new OEM linkages.

Hello there,

 

I think it's normally the small linkage that wears out first,

as on most Corrado's at 75,000 miles you were able to feel a little free play,

and then towards 100,000 miles or above the long linkage can some times feel lose,

but like I say it's normally the small one that goes first.

 

Also check that the wiper unit metal frame is bolted tight,

and I think there might even be a small rubber bush or one small mount,

where the wiper unit frame is bolted down to the bulk head,

just lower down from where the wiper motor is.

 

Plus there are two small brass sleeve bushes inside the two wiper spindles,

that over time do wear out that can cause free play here and there.
