Unused wiring plugs near the fuse box...

I've just changed the fuel pump relay on my C today, and decided to have a look at the local wiring. I discovered quite a few unused plugs in that area, does anyone know what these are for?

Not sure what they're for specifically, but the looms are generic so it's easier to retrofit options that weren't specified on the build of your car. Things like A/C, cruise control, etc....

as an aside, its worth taping the ends up and pushing them into the loom wiring itself to stop any new rattles in the dash which can otherwise be impossible to trace.
