A VW Corrado? What s that?

Recommended Posts

I can remember the first time I got taken out in a corrado vr6

Didn't know what it was besides a vw corrado at first sight

Then he put his foot down and omg I was like WHAT!!! Hearing the noise from the induction kit Is it supercharged? Not knowing much them days

He says vr6 bro (this was like 17 years ago) then I could understand how it was a v6(obviously now Ido)

I drove a mk2 2.9 couple years later and you all know the feeling

This was dark purple sat on its ar5e with diamond cut rh toplines

One day I will have my corrado

Lol

I not sat in a Golf VR6 before

So is there that much difference between the Corrado and Golf?

Would putting 2.9 in the Golf and 2.8 in the Corrado make them same?

The mk2 is bit lighter mk3 not as good looking and the 2.9 has 190bhp and 2.8 has 174bhp

But my golf with me sat inside it is the best sight to anyone's eyes

Lol

Hopefully will have a golf and corrado vr6 when I can afford to save up enough but first on the list is to import a mk3 golf syncro and convert it to right hand drive

The old 4wheel drive cars were named syncro and the new cars are named 4motion

Awesome!

How much bhp do they have?

Would FWD 2.8 keep up with it?

Not in a straight line and arguable in the twists in the dry

So same engine

The 4wd would have a slower start, but overtake corrado eventually?

Would the 4wd extra weight make the golf same weight as Corrado?

I mean the corrado be quicker in straight maybe not off line though

I'm not too sure about weight

But I am partly certain (could be wrong) the mk3 is slightly better aero dynamics less drag than the corrado

No I don't :(

But when I had my Honda CRX 16v I was advised to upgrade to a lightweight flywheel with short 5th gear plus add a 1.8 or 2.0 bottom to it ;)

I didn't know what they on about then, and still don't :)
