Wayne2015 10 Posted March 9, 2015 Abs ring just for the rear. It's clipped to the inside of the disk. Yup anti lock brake. They look like this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SENSOR-RING-For-ABS-VW-CORRADO-53I-2-9-VR6-190BHP-Top-German-Quality-/201108268868?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2ed2fca744 You could take it off your old disk but normally they are rusty and deform when you remove. If you look on euro car parts the expensive rear disk at forty odd quid comes with this... Don't forget you will need four new carrier bolts for the rear and four for the front. Google ebay corrado carrier bolts. They are about three quid each but are high torque bolts. Rear bolts here...http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xcorrado+carrier+bolts.TRS0&_nkw=corrado+carrier+bolts&ghostText=&_sacat=0 Oh no! Do I need front caliper carrier bolts as well??? Can't find any on eBay :( Are they same as rear bolts???
delfinis38 1 Posted March 10, 2015 Oh no! Do I need front caliper carrier bolts as well??? Can't find any on eBay :( Are they same as rear bolts??? In the ideal world yes. But front are standard hex socket type and different to the rear which you bought that are Allen key. Front should come out and be able to use again, with some thread lock. If you can get them it would be safer to change them. Have a word with vag hag to see what he wants to change them. I hope you will be posting pictures of work in progress with all these new bits on. Wayne2015 10 Posted March 10, 2015 Will also check with VW if they do shelf straps. Is it Lupo shelf straps that fit? If not will order from VeeDubMachine ...
Wayne2015 10 Posted March 10, 2015 No luck with bolts nor parcel shelf straps at VW :( Look at the GRAND entrance for car customers ... And the not-so back street/alley entrance for parts - eeek!
delfinis38 1 Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) have a search on here, think people buy parcel shelf straps from ebay and they are from a seat which are exactly the same only about £3 each. edit.... done your search for you http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=89630&highlight=seat+parcel+shelf+straps Edited March 10, 2015 by delfinis38

seanl82 23 Posted March 10, 2015 Just phone the parts department at VW with the part numbers Wayne. They'll order them in for you and usually have them within 2 days. I've just ordered a set of spring top plates this morning ready to fit my Bilsteins, and they will be in tomorrow!
Chuggs1 10 Posted March 10, 2015 That's similar to the VW stealer in Swindon - big posh entrance for new cars and side entrance down the side for parts that's a bit dingy! Obviously like banks don't care much about you once they have you lol!
