Major Service: Where best for parts?

Recommended Posts

those exploded diagrams are on vagcat... the link I sent you mate :D

That's right, mate!

So much to take in these 4 weeks - so apologies for not remembering!

But thanks! ;)

Would it not be slightly cheaper from TPS?

I know mate!

I had it all planned...then didn't do anything until this week - so panic buy!

ECP was easier as the staff checked the correct part for me,

There was a sale,

And guaranteed parts next day delivery!

Couldnt dare splitting the rest of order too much - might lose the plot!

I live and learn! Lol :)

Have you got a tool for undoing the gearbox plugs? I haven't read all of post so might have been covered already.

if you are changing your spark plugs have you got the specific tool to remove & refit the HT leads as it will be very tricky without?

ahhh - you really need one of the removal tools m8

also, you're likely to need a spark plug socket, the ones with the rubber type lining to hold the plug in there, & a long extension bar as the plugs sit really quite deep

i have one which i could post you out to borrow but i doubt it would arrive in time for sunday

i hope its VAG-hag to the rescue ;) lol
