Dox 23 Posted March 19, 2015 It may be worth stating if its 2.8 or 2.9, if you're not sure a pic of the underside would clarify this or google the part number

lilfuzzer 1 Posted May 2, 2015 How can I tell if my VR is obd1 or obd2 Look at your underside and see solid or it has cut outs. If you google pictures it will sgow the difference as I probably dont make sense
Dox 23 Posted May 2, 2015 How can I tell if my VR is obd1 or obd2 Post a pic of your throttlebody. Corrados left the factory as obd1
branty 10 Posted May 2, 2015 Sorry my mistake, I thought late Corrado Vr6 had obd2. So it is obd1. Numbers on manifold are 021 133
Dox 23 Posted May 2, 2015 All Corrados are OBD1 as they left the factory, early OBD1 were dizzy ignition, late OBD1 with coil pack. MK3 Golf early were OBD1 dizzy ignition, later OBD1 with coil pack ignition, the last of the MK3s have OBD2 and have the idle valve built into the throttlebody which has a different fitting to the manifold. OBD2 manifolds wont fit OBD1 throttle bodies and vise versa
