Purple Tom 0 Posted March 20, 2015 Purple Tom's Mk4 rear caliper emporium Hi, I've just spent the afternoon making a start on going through all the (many, many) Corrado parts that I have to sell. First on the list is my collection of brake calipers, among which are the mk4 Golf rear calipers offered here. These are the standard calipers fitted to the majority of the mk4 Golf platform vehicles (excluding the 5 and 6 cylinder versions as well as the bigger power 20VT cars) They will fit mk2, 3 and 4 Golfs as well as all Corrados and other VAG cars with solid rear discs. I have examined each caliper and made sure of the following: - Bleed nipple moves freely and seals properly - Banjo bolt threads intact and clear - Piston fully retracted with dust seal intact The calipers are all externally sound in generally good condition although they would benefit from a bit of love from a wire brush and some polish if you wanted them to be concours. They are however all ready to bolt on. I have 10 (TEN) sets for sale. Price quoted includes packaging and postage by courier. The majority of carriers that I have are for the mk4 platform vehicles so they will NOT fit your Corrado, however the standard Corrado carriers will work just fine. I will chuck in the mk4 carriers if you want them (please tell me if you do) if not then I'll leave them to keep the packages smaller. Payment is best by either Paypal gift or bank transfer and postage will be regular although not next day unless you're lucky and I'm on a decent shift or you're absolutely desperate in which case I can make a special journey. Wayne2015 10 Posted March 20, 2015 Hi Tom My 1994 VR6 rear calipers may be "still" seized :( Does your calipers : 1. Fit my car AND the existing pads/discs (226 discs i think)? 2. Does your calipers + carriers fit my existing 226? Sorry Did read your post - but wanted to be absolutely sure! As i just got new solid read discs and new rear pads... Purple Tom 0 Posted July 8, 2015 I'm afraid currently they're just selling in pairs as it's pointless me selling one then having to wait for someone to want the other side.
