BBC1 10 Posted October 16, 2015 You could lathe drill and tap a thread into the end as a cheap fix. If you weld you would need deep penetration. It looks like high carbon steel? It will probably unbalance at high rpms a touch. Take it apart and have a new shaft made up. Won't cost too much. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
