Kenny from the forum is selling me them and helping to fit them which is very kind indeed.
seanl82 23 Posted April 21, 2016 Mega easy to fit so you should have them all replaced in about 30 mins!
delfinis38 1 Posted April 21, 2016 Mega easy to fit so you should have them all replaced in about 30 mins! Really... So what's the secret to getting the front door card on.. I can never get the door pin through the door card hole while locating the top trim. Last time I was fishing the pin through with a piece of string. :)

massbad69 10 Posted April 21, 2016 Had to hastily buy some Alpine 6.5" speakers for the Audioscape door pods before fitting
delfinis38 1 Posted April 21, 2016 Hopefully I've done mk1 Golf interiors but not a C. As long as you've got new clips for the rear door cards it should be easy.
Cressa 44 Posted April 21, 2016 I bought some clips from TPS the other month. Not expensive either Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
massbad69 10 Posted April 21, 2016 Kenny has a few spare and I've got a few as well from a wee job lot I bought on this forum. Wish list still has a few things on it but there's no cash in the pot left but plenty time - Stainless exhaust Decent headunit Bigger wheels
Cressa 44 Posted April 21, 2016 Can I duplicate that wish list. Must do the lottery. . Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Last time I was fishing the pin through with a piece of string. :) Exactly this! :thumbleft: I've obviously spent an age doing the same thing in the past, so its dead simple once you prepare for it and have a bit of cotton/string handy. The seats can be had in and out in 10 minutes, a couple of bolts to undo the seatbelts for the rear cards (and new clips help as mentioned). Front door cards are easy once you've done them before, its just finding what has to be removed and how first. (Door pin and surround, door pull surround - slide forward, 3 outer screws - stubby screwdriver for the one closest the dash, pull off grab handle cover, 2 screws for the grab handle, and the hidden screw behind it. Lift away gently, and disconnect speaker wires and window switch. Job done!).

massbad69 10 Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) Removed the mint black cloth interior, cleaned everything, fitted grey leather interior with the Audioscape door pods and new Alpine speakers with the help of Kenny from this forum. Removed the black sill protectors with brushed stainless ones, then fitted the 20mm rear spacers. Finished with cleaning and moisturising the new seats and cards. Cleaned the washer bottle and changed the top to a new black one. Edited April 24, 2016 by massbad69

I removed the rear wiper today to clean up the rear end but as usual, I am keeping all the parts I remove to stay with the car, incl the speaker brackets not reqd with the Audioscape pods, the rear wiper bits, interior and original speedlines. massbad69 10 Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) HELP Would these wheels fit my car. They are 5x120 8j, so I would need 20mm 5x120 to 5x100 adapters. Car has the Bilstein b12 kit fitted and I would get 205 40 17 tyres. Any help is greatly appreciated. Edited May 2, 2016 by massbad69

But with the adapters and 8j wide would they be too wide or look too big ?
