Storm grey VR6 - Sold

Recommended Posts

Nothing wrong with a colour coded grill, especially on darker colours. I quite liked my Twilight one that way anyway:)

Just wanted the badge so I've git a full set of silvers for the next owner.

I like Frasers green Storm with the colour coded grill so think I will go down that route

Looks good, is Glamis a classic car show now? It used to be a vintage farming thing with some cars. I was brought up about 4 miles from it.

It's the underside that's very very green :thumbleft:

Ordered new Phillips extreme headlight bulbs as I don't need them often so I am not getting the looms.

Also sorted with my bodyshop about getting the new grill sprayed Storm Grey.

Nipping through to Kenny on here's house in August to get Daves short shifter fitted.

Lastly ordered the rear axle bushes and went with Febi as I've used them for years and had no issues at all.

Still to get the passenger window and heater direction fixed but as neither bothers me it might be a long wait

Cheers and it is a bench plus I have my bikes and a turbo trainer in the 2nd garage.

The bikes get used but can't say that for the bench though :bonk:

You should be! Is it a keeper? Have you nearly finished putting your 'touch' on it?

Cars in getting is stainless fitted.

Downpipe back with decat pipe and the cat back for MOT time :smug:

Going for a decent bit of noise and an oval inwardly rolled tail but straight out the back and not angled, just like I did on my mk1 Golfs.

Picking it up around 1600 then got to get it ready for the inside stand at the Scottish Car Show tomorrow

Oh well

There's a trimmer a mile up the road and I was going to pop in sometime to see if they can do it

Exhaust looks good. I see you have also replaced your tank straps. Were they done today as well.

Good luck at the show tomorrow, the fact that you are inside will attract a lot of attention
