Reverend Frog 10 Posted January 9, 2016 Would like a later style ABS light unit for my 1993 VR6 please. Including the metal clips if possible! cheers
Cressa 44 Posted January 9, 2016 I found it was only the bulb in mine that was faulty. Pence from a car spares shop. Soldered in and works again. As for the clips, I swapped some from an old vw polo switch that had the same ones and also epoxy glued them in. Sound difficult but was surprisingly an easy repair. Just a thought
Reverend Frog 10 Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) Cheers for the heads-up What sort of bulb is it? Thing is I think something is missing in my case. I have the black light cover bit(the visible bit in the dashboard with 'ABS' written on it) and an empty cream plastic bit behind it that slots into the multi plug, but I am sure there's another bit missing that should slot in between the two, as though a previous owner has been tampering with it. do i need anything else? Cressa 44 Posted January 9, 2016 There's definitely a circuit board inside with 5 prongs sticking out for the electrical plug to connect onto. .. You do need a new one. Mine too had been tampered with. When I got it working the damn thing wouldn't go off... finally cured. Good luck with the switch. There are plenty about. Try and match the part number on it, but i don't think that matters. also try asking lillfuzzer on here. He's super helpful and seems to have everything

Dox 23 Posted January 10, 2016 You need to match the part number, some have one plug, others 2 plugs. The last 2 letters on the part number give the type you need
