VW_OwneR_85 2 Posted January 20, 2016 I brought this for my mk4 golf , works a treat! and cheap http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Konnwei-KW809-Car-Diagnostic-Scanner-CAN-OBD2-Code-Reader-Tool-VW-Audi-VS-VAG405-/221638141140?hash=item339aa9a4d4:g:GZwAAOSwBLlVAQsp
swiftkid 1 Posted January 20, 2016 Erm the elm327 I think, bought it absolutely ages ago. Was only cheap so took a risk, works on the rado if you convert to obd2 as well ;) Not sure what you mean about WiFi scanner though, never seen a WiFi obd scanner before Edit: think it's same as this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=221938206427&alt=web
VR-OOM 0 Posted January 20, 2016 I've just bought a Vgate VS450 scanner for my 54 Passat, works a treat and it works with OBD2
eugopnosaj 0 Posted January 21, 2016 Just a word of advice, double check which one works with your car. I've got an ELM 327 which only works on the various fords I've worked on, it doesn't work on the Corrado (which is only OBD1 anyway so wouldn't regardless) nor my legacy engined beetle, the VW 409.1 cable however works on the Corrado and the Subaru ECU. I bought a cheap ELM bluetooth one and although it connects to my phone and can be seen over bluetooth it doesn't communicate, that's both using Torque and Dashboard etc.
