FrankyEight 10 Posted May 6, 2016 Hi all, Looking to replace the spark plugs on my '95 16v. Is there any difference between say, the £2.99 Bosch versions or the more expensive NGK or Denso variants? Thanks in advance.
Dekerf1996 10 Posted May 6, 2016 I have just got some NGK BKUR7ET off of ebay for £13.81 Heard some bad things about Bosch plugs recently and people recommending the NGK plugs and for only a couple of quid more than the bosch ones for me it was a no brainer

EJ Taylor 22 Posted May 6, 2016 Hi all, Looking to replace the spark plugs on my '95 16v. Is there any difference between say, the £2.99 Bosch versions or the more expensive NGK or Denso variants? Thanks in advance. I was told to get Bosch as they are OEM or what ever and bla bla bla, used them on a new set up, not sure if co incidence but runs worse than it ever has, previously always used ngk iridium and i will be going back to these end of the month. FrankyEight 10 Posted May 19, 2016 For what its worth; I've changed the spark plugs with Bosch replacements and had the throttle body cleaned out. The result? Feels like the car has almost been transformed! A much more responsive throttle and feels like its unleashed another 20bhp from somewhere — it may be placebo but the car suddenly feels much more fun and sporty to drive. Pleased!
