niels 0 Posted July 7, 2004 They've travelled the world. Made in Japan ( gold centres), been to Canada then Germany to be polished and then to Funland. Only mere 7x17 et 35 with 205/40/17 but prefer them over the 18". just clears the 330 AP's Cheers, Niko
VR6 0 Posted July 7, 2004 Absolutely lovely! Think I'd prefer the gold centres on a dark blue or green car though. Still looks good with purple though 8) Dare I ask the price?
g-master 0 Posted July 7, 2004 8) well sorted mate! the old rims are bloody nice too, you can't beat bbs rims imo :D
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 7, 2004 Yeah the LMs are stunning rims. Good choice. I believe they weigh bugger all aswell, which is always advantageous to the handling.
RadoAds 0 Posted July 7, 2004 Lurvly mate, nice one......not usually into the gold rim thing but it looks sweet!! 8)
niels 0 Posted July 7, 2004 Thanks all for the compliments. I'm well chuffed after finally getting them. Not into gold wheels usually either but these somehow don't look too corny. Yes the're very light, ebven lighter than the BBS rs's which are no heavyweights either. Niko
Valver 0 Posted July 7, 2004 Those wheels are lovely.................can't say the same about the rear spoiler tho!?

niels 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Niko, Do the RS's clear the AP brakes ok?? Nope you need a 5mm spacer with the RS's. The RC's I had previously fitted fine. I have a couple of rs sets in germany if you're interested....as in dozens of them that can be made to individual spec. niko
dan 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Those wheels look stunnung... I think the gold suits the car colour well. again not normally my cup of tea but, sometimes they just work the only reason I dont have that style of rim on my C is because they look too hard to keep clean. I have RS's on my VR and really want to sort the brakes without changing the wheels. 5mm is not too bad, but will probably upset the looks? Oh well, the search continues! crazymarcel 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Those are stunning BBS, I really like them/ :D They a bit like my RX's but not if u know what i mean./ How much you selling RS sets for?
biggerbigneil 0 Posted July 13, 2004 Hi Niko I've nearly finished refurbing a set of RS's absolute mission, the center caps are proving very difficult. Was wondering if you had a spare set of them going? sent them off to spit n' polish in Kent (apparently very good) and they sent them back.... couldn't take off the black plastic part behind the aluminuim cover and god knows where you can buy them from for a sensible price
dinkus 10 Posted July 13, 2004 I must say I'm generally not one for gold, but those rims do look rather tasty, they compliment the purple (excuse lack of colour code knowledge) very nicely.
