Received mine today Anna, thanks.

What i will say is they look absolute spot on. Good coating of paint and they are thicker/stronger than the vw item I previously bought.

Great Result in you bringing this product back to life. I hope other vr6 owners of the differing models get to know about these as they sob be disappointed. I look forward to fitting them

I am in need of some rear backing plates. Have you got any further with getting these produced?

Hi

We have had the samples and approved them. Just waiting on them to manufacture and ship them. We do keep genuine ones in stock if you are stuck and needed a set fast

Looks good...

Where did you get the zinc and yellow work done? - I've struggled to find somewhere that would do old car parts

Cool!

I was thinking about one of the Frost's type kits... but was wondering if it was cheaper just to get the bits I need doing done by a company...

I used a local company and had about the same amount of parts as above done in a combination of gold and silver passivate. It all cost me £50 for the lot which I didn't think was too bad. I've got another lot of the same amount to do again when I get onto the from end of the car, so thought it was best to just pay like that rather than buy a kit. I doubt I'll need any more doing afterwards.

Graham - out of interest did you buy a Frost type kit?

I've tried again to find a plating company and they all say that they wont touch used car parts as it could contaminate their tanks

Think I'm going to buy my own kit as I have a ton of stuff to do!
