ps2mods 0 Posted July 10, 2004 Hi guys, I have a 95 vr6 she has done 136,000 miles, drives very well with no obvouis faults, full leather which is in mint condition, everything works inc sunroof, no service history, original unmarked speedline alloys, no mods as yet. Ok i want my next car or this 1 to be the DB'S should i invest a few grand say 4-5 grand in to this car to make it mint or should i start again, with a IMPREZA WRX, i know thats a silly question to ask in here-lol but i want some awsome power. Ok what i though is take my VR6 and get it all checked out and serviced to see if there is any major work needed before i invest in her. What do u reckon? So what can i get done to my VR6 for this sort of money? and is it worth it? She has just had a brand new front bumper as some dick reversed in to me in a vectra and his tow bar pierced my bumper, this cost his insurance 850.00 with a new foglight glass, ok then the guys at the body shop they used a power washer on my car after fitting the front bumper and took a piece of laccer off the bonnet the size of a CD, so she is gonna have the bonnet and wings sprayed next week. So a little more body work left and she will be mint visually. I want awsome power so i thought maybe a SUPER CHARGER, new exhaust, wheels ect. So what do you guys think ? Invest in my vr or go for something else? What's the best mods for that kind of money and is it worth it bearing in mind, id say my VR6 is worth around 3500.00. corradovr6sc 0 Posted July 10, 2004 I recommend the charger as the best power mod. My z - kit gives me 275bhp/240 lbft and cost £2000 and gives M3 performance. It's certainly better value than the intake/cams/chip route. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
