Old nugget - side protection strips

Couple of questions:

 

1) was it 1992 when VW changed the side protection strips on the Corrado?

2) was it a change in dimensions or texture or both?

3) has anyone close up pics to show the early v late versions?

4) has anyone got a perfect complete set of either for sale? Even a perfect "side" sonthat I can try once more to make up a set?

Pretty positive they're the same both early and late. Changes were made to door handles, front wings, bonnet, bumper and front lighting on exterior.

I have several sets but by no means perfect there maybe small scratches etc due to their nature

1) Its around facelift time mid 92.

2) Not 100% about dimensions but think they tweaked slightly - texture and colour change did happen though.

3) Not of the strips no.

4) Again no for that one.
