Cressa 44 Posted January 3, 2017 Does anybody know where the switch illumination can be picked up from the fusebox. Plug/pin no. Etc. I appreciate it can be piggy backed from any grey/blue wire at a switch but in my OCD I would like come from the fusebox. All wise knowledge gratefully received. Pictures/diagram a bonus 95 VR. Cressa 44 Posted January 5, 2017 Sorted. Used plug D connector 12. Its a big double green plug and re-connected the joint with my cable attached. PITA but may help someone in the future Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
fla 9 Posted January 5, 2017 good info. I need to wire in the heater panel illumination and have already used the flying lead that goes to the panel for 3 leds for the dials themselves. Would you mind posting up a pic too, as i'm looking to add a few more small lights too.
Cressa 44 Posted January 5, 2017 My connection is the top left in the plug on the picture. D12 as stated. I took the terminal out and crimped another wire on and fitted it back into the plug. The 2nd pictures shows the flying lead (grey/blue wire without a plug) from the fusebox. It needs a plug like the one next to it. Then I'm going to connect them into a spare 4 way junction connector that sits on the top of the fusebox. All O.e.so happy days, and it will leave me with 2 spare connections for another time. I'm just waiting on sorting parts from lillfuzzer Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
eugopnosaj 0 Posted January 6, 2017 I'm pretty sure that there is a row of single connectors that have a few spare sockets. Shown here by the arrow on the RHS (see attached) photo courtesy of Philly-R6 on a different thread, although you'd need to get the correct connector. Cressa 44 Posted January 6, 2017 I can't open the picture. ... I did test the connectors at the top of my fusebox but none were from the lights on mine. I had read that some do have this from where I connected hence me doing it and trying to keep it original Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
