VR6 0 Posted July 13, 2004 Yeah I've thought about the Turn2 ones actually. Got a link/price for the ones you got Daz? Might just have to chuck a cold air induction kit on there as well ;) lol

VR6 0 Posted July 13, 2004 Yeah that's the page I was looking at - just making sure I had the right one. So what's the difference between that at £30 and the VT mount at c£130?
corradovr6sc 0 Posted July 13, 2004 think the turn 2 mounts are polyurethane inserts and VT are solid rubber complete replacements.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 13, 2004 The turn2 ones are awful. Had em on a week and took em off again. The lower 'hockey puck' mount on it's own is OK ish as it retains the stock upper half, but I found it transmitted vibration at 4000+ rpm. But the main blocks of poly that replace the swiss cheesed OE rubber are horrendous. The VT ones are expensive for a reason. That being they are proper engine mounts, not just blocks of plastic. Besides, the initial purchase price of VTs may seem expensive but you can buy replacable inserts for them when needed for about £40. Different grades of rubber available too. Soft, intermediate and Race.
