Stormy_VR 10 Posted November 27, 2018 Hi all. Hope I’ve posted this in the right place, apologies if not (noob!!) Driving the rado today and noticed a loud ‘buzzing’ type noise coming from the lhr side, seemingly behind the interior side panel!! Was happening intermittently, whether I was driving along or at a standstill!! Haven’t stripped down as of yet so just thought I’d ask the question whether anyone has had this noise before and what it possibly is/ any ideas of any modules etc located in that area?? fendervg 33 Posted November 27, 2018 Central locking or electric window control module would be two suspects...
Jon_vr6 1 Posted November 27, 2018 Did you have heated seat on?
MarkR 11 Posted November 27, 2018 Sounds like the heater seat relay. Most likely a faulty element in the seat.
Stormy_VR 10 Posted November 28, 2018 Did you have heated seat on? Yes I did, both of them. Drove car to work today but no noises appeared!

delfinis38 1 Posted November 28, 2018 It's normally the elements have broken in the seat... the relays for the seats are quite rare go find if you have a problem with them.

Awesome, thanks for the advice, looks like the seat will be coming out soon then!
