Has anyone tried one of them leather steering wheel refurb kits off ebay

Yes I used one to great effect on my steering wheel and gear knob - see my thread for detail and pictures. It was really easy to do and both feel great in the hand now. Car felt old with the tatty old finish prior.

I used the Furniture Clinic leather steering wheel repair kit and got an excellent result as long as you follow instructions. However as long as your leather is still intact and no deep cuts.

I need to do mine again . I used furniture clinic and it peeled off . Maybe I got some grease from my hands on it , in between coats ?.

Indeed, I smell a troll.

 

The kit I purchased was great and when I contacted customer service as I didn’t receive the original item in the post the sent me out another, received the next day.
