Front grill fixing

If your rubber grommets are perished for the 3 bottom tabs of your grill you can replace them with 20mm electrical grommets.

 

They are a couple of mm smaller diameter wise and slightly chunkier but they fit the hole nicely and secure the grill very well. Looks a bit more slightly too. :thumbleft:

Yes Si , there’s a few different types , some look slimmer so might be better. I typed in , oval rubber grommets, or oval electrical grommets.

Those oval ones look ideal as such, but some of them do seem rather chunky and it might stop the clips going in all the way. The standard round 20mm grommets that I used will work fine and leave a decent size hole for the clip to push in to.

 

Any electrician or maintenance department at your place of work will have them lying around.

 

Time to go on the scrounge guys!

I just came to me in the shower...... Some of the blind grommets come with an outer edge that would sit flusher and possibly look more like the original ones. You would need to cut out the centre part but I reckon they would look even better. I do have some somewhere so will try it out when I find them.
