Corrado VR6

Hi,

I have recently acquired a Corrado VR6 1993

Question the rear badging is as follows  CORRADO in Black and the VR6 in Red 

Would the car left the factory like this?

If the car is also black then yes, the early  vr6 was like that, it also probably has a distributor instead of a coil pack.

Even if it didn't leave the factory with a red badge it is acceptable to put on a badge colour that suits the colour of the car- my car 1995 in black left factory with brushed silver but have a black corrado script badge and red front and rear VR6 because I liked the combo.

For what it's worth, all 92 VR6s and at least the first half of 1993 had the red VR6 badges and colour coded Corrado script.  Also all the original VW roundels were chrome/silver.

My 93 pearl grey metallic, manufactured in Jan 1993, has red VR badges front and rear, as per factory, and I think it suits the colour.
