G60 lower metal coolant pipe 191121083

Hi there guys, it looks like its been asked many times, im in need of the lower rad metal pipe, part number 191121083...however, it looks like no matter where I look, its NLA.

So, does anyone know if the pipe is able to be repaired somehow, possibly welded? Or is there a replacement that can be used instead, possibly switching to a rubber hose of some sort?

Hello your best bet is to try Ebay or the corrado graveyard if no one on here has a spare they may be willing to part with.

Have you tried VW classic parts in germany? - may have them if you are lucky

Thank you for the information, I have found a couple of them on ebay, worst case ill order one of those. I will check out vw classic parts

By any chance do you know if they are the same as any other VW? 

Also, the front cross member, wherre the radiator sits, is it the same as any other VW? Mine is quite rusted, thinking if I should replace rather than try to rescue mine

The metal pipe i would assume will be unique to the G60 engine 

Just remember the age of these cars the ones on ebay may be as bad as your own 

The rad support is a well known rust weakness best to try and save your own if you can
