DanA 0 Posted August 16, 2004 Just wondering if you can buy new alloys that are a similar design to the standard speedline ones ?? It would be good to go up to a 16" alloy but I'd like to keep the car looking as standard as possible. Any ideas ? Dan

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 16, 2004 They don't do them in road wheel grade alloy anymore. I rang and enquired last year and they used to do them, and in 17" 5 stud too, but not anymore. He offered to check with the factory in Italy but doubted there would be any. They are still available in Gold, Silver and white magnesium but do not come with a warranty as Magnesium is for smooth track use, not bumpy UK roads. Oh and yeah they are expensive, can't remember how much but I remember coughing on my coffee when he told me. The Compomotive MO is a good alternative tho. Maybe if enough interest is there, Speedline might dig the moulds out and make some up..... 10 or more orders is usually the threshold. I would *definitely* be up for some 17" VR6 style speedlines.....
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 16, 2004 Actually, just noticed on their site the 2110 SCs have been recently introduced for Fords, Vauxhalls and Citroens (Sacrilige  ) but I'll ring them in a bit to see if they're available in 5x100 in suitable VW offsets and prices.
