Jim 2 Posted August 31, 2004 Take it properly steady (that doesn't mean doing a 'steady' 120MPH ) , could quite possibly see 350-400 miles off a full tank of gas :) Somewhere around 35MPG should be obtainable.
Neocorrado 0 Posted September 1, 2004 jimsG60, Thanks man for a sec there i was happy cause i was about to keep a steady 120 MPH :) but i guess i can do without. Thanks again
vr6storm 0 Posted September 1, 2004 well i get approx 32-33mpg on long journeys at steady speeds of 80-ish mph
Scott 0 Posted September 1, 2004 Yeah same here.... around 34mpg at steady 75mph
dr_mat 0 Posted September 1, 2004 I've seen 34mpg, but only when cruising at 55mph.. Climb to 75 and the mpg drops to 31/32. Get to 90mph and it's down to 28!
dinkus 10 Posted September 1, 2004 Worth noting at this point that a US gallon isn't the same size as a UK gallon... 1 UK gallon = 4.54 liters; 1 US gallon = 3.78 liters :)
Neocorrado 0 Posted September 15, 2004 well i went on my trip and the best i did was 27 MPG  i never got to hit the 30 mark and i was going 70 the whole way
dinkus 10 Posted September 15, 2004 well i went on my trip and the best i did was 27 MPG  i never got to hit the 30 mark and i was going 70 the whole way Yeah, but don't forget your gallons are smaller, so there's no way you're gonna get the same mpg as we do ;)
Musicman 0 Posted September 15, 2004 1 US Gallon = 1.20095 Imperial Gallons, so your 27 MPG translates to 32.43 MPG in the UK. If you hit 30 MPG, you'd be getting the equivalent of over 36 MPG here.
Neocorrado 0 Posted September 28, 2004 the other day i was driving like a good boy and i hit the 30 mark for like 2 sec and it went back to 29 MPG with i think is pretty good :)
khurrado 0 Posted October 22, 2004 makes me cry..........I get just over 20 mpg. Sometimes as low as 19. HELP!!! heh. Problem will be solved next week.
Notsosane 0 Posted November 16, 2004 I'd jump around and do flips if mine got 20.. Best I've gotten is 17 mpg.
Supercharged 2 Posted November 16, 2004 I'd jump around and do flips if mine got 20.. Best I've gotten is 17 mpg. What engine have you got!?! - The G60's and VR's will easily do 30mpg!
Henny 0 Posted November 16, 2004 I'd jump around and do flips if mine got 20.. Best I've gotten is 17 mpg. 17? Sheeesh, I only managed to get mine down to 15 when I was thrashing the utter nuts off her at Bruntingthorpe proving grounds! There's something REALLY wrong there mate... All corrados should be able to get mid 20MPG figures unless they're modded to give 300BHP or something silly like that! :?
