Sold. With a heavy heart and 2 years fun. Time to move on to something else... an Alfa with Busso V6 probably. All the best guys. Signing off...

Chris all the best with the car. Am gutted to see it go but I know it is in good hands. Pleasure to meet you today. Cheers.

Nice one Chuggs. Looking good...

I bought a set of stainless ones a while back as the originals had corroded badly. They come in straight lengths and you simply bend them round to fit the contours of the tank. An easy job to do.

Rog, I do love the twin headlamps of the Mk1 Rocco and the Alfa Sprint. I only wish there was a decent, reliable, easy to fit twin headlamp conversion for the Corrado (the Nothelle conversion looks ace imo) -
In the article I think there is a typo in the reference to the Porsche 993... it should read the last air-cooled Porsche 911, not water cooled. The Alfa GTV6 3.0 has the fantastic Busso engine but electrical problems would make me nervous. A colleague of mine had a Z3M in Estoril Blue back in the day and he said it was ace except for on wet roads when the back end would get very lairy. The only Ferrari I've driven is a 360 and it had an engine note akin to an angry metallic wasp... a great sound. The 355 gets my vote...

Cheers Reece. Here's a before and after shot for comparison... Before after and a couple more (it is a gallery after all)...:)

Thanks. Yes it is a Corrado one - identical part number to the old one. Thought about a fitting Golf one but I understand the lugs are a different shape and knowing my luck I would have snapped them off...

I did look at getting a pro chrome painter to refurb it but would have cost more than the new one, and probably wouldn't look as good or last as long...

Bought a new rear badge recently off the bay - thanks Thursdave for sourcing the blue grommets. Before... After...

It is called an air guide. Difficult to get hold of in my experience. I got one off ebay for a tenner from a guy who was breaking a C and selling a wheel arch liner with the guide attached. Good luck.

I have some OEM protectors on my VR and they just clip on. No need for sealant if they are the same ones. Cheers

Quick pic taken this afternoon... still lovin' the look of the B12s...

I can see where people are coming from. In my view it's all about supply and demand. The value will be set by the market and what price someone is ultimately prepared to pay for them at a given point in time. I don't value them enough to pay that much, but someone may. GLWS.

Two chufties to report... Last month,I was waiting at a T junction for 2 guys on road bikes to come past. I had both the windows down (as you do) and heard one say to the other "Nice! What's that?" His mate said "I think it's a Corrado". "Awesome" said the first guy. Thumbs up from me, and gave it some beans as I pulled out after they had passed. Last night whilst loading the C with a small shop at local Sainsbury's a guy walking past stared and commented "lovely car, mate".
