the aux water pump is on the other side by the coilpack? i changed that a while ago.......it sounds like its coming from the block to on the left of the engine cover or below it where the alternator belt is ........ its loud, louder then the tappets

having big problems today

first up i cracked my windscreen!!!!!!! god dam it!!

then yesterday when the car was cold i started it and made a squiking noise from the left side of the engine then as it warmed it went...

however today its abit loader and its not going aways sounds like maybe a rubbing metal noise maybe a bearing noise.... something is making me think its the water pump?? can the pump make a noise like that its its dead? is the chain on the left?? same side as the belts?

just wondered has anyone got any pics of the rieger gto or gtx front bumper?? the bumper that u only seem to see on that yellow corrado? the one with slightly bigger sqaure rents??? ive only seen it on the yellow corrado n just want to see it on a darker corrado!!!? aint anyone bought it? dont no1 like it?

at the time the price i was given was for the block with pistons and was brand new out the factory!! but that aint about nomore...

but you can still get a rebuilt engine with new pistons and all (not the head ) for 1400+vat this is not an exchange and im told all the new parts are same as factory....... with the head 1750 + vat

but they tell me its a propa job and every bit is checked and put as new!!

ok well i got the price over the phone from a big vw parts place, i got the number from a mag pvw but at this moment im not at home so aint got it here!!!!! i did ask twice when i heard the price and YES it was for the 2.9 the 2.8 was less!!!!

if you went and got a recon 2.9 on your corrado how would you know that the engine is really a 2.9 and not the 2.8?.....

ive seen that you can get new factory built 2.9 vr6 for £1400 plus vat!! without the head.... does that sound good or nothing special?

and in some mags it said the 1.8 16v was faster to 60 then the g60 ??

and now i have a vr6 im still seeing all the times aint the same!!!

i think cars are changing now coz if what i read was right the new astra will ave 250bhp?? i pray it dont !!! lol

in top gear mag in the index it said 6. but in the same mag it then says 7 . something?

do they run these tests in the fastet way to 60 ie 1st and 2nd at full revs or in 1st 2nd and 3rd? think mune would take aweek if time up to 3rd at lower revs!!!

ive seen some say 6.7 some and some 7.4 ?? what is it ?? the older ones still had cat's so it cant be that?

i tried 3 0-60 the other day using 1st and 2nd and got 7.42 .... 7.42...7.34?? mind you i was worried bout the bald tyre its bad ..

ok here's what happend...

got all clear lights thought there abit too in ya face so i made em look lovely... fitted them using factory holder not the bulb holder u get with the lights!"!! thought all was well until the next day when the bulb went pop!! chaged the bulb and went to re fit it>> then for some reason it didnt go in????? then i realised you cant use the heat from the bulb made the hole the bulb goes in melt abit n now the hole is smaller then the bulb!!! LOL.... OK NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY THEY GIVE YOU SPECIAL BULB HOLDERS!!!!!

after changing the theromsat housing the car has a problem

no leaks now but, as i was driving it the dials went crazy and made a ticking clicking noise that sounds electrical...... also would go above 2500 rpm??? started jerking then fine the jerking and so on

the next day was fine then later that day went to start it and it turned over the would start due to the crazy dials n noise?

also think its another issue but ive always noticed a thin wire (yellow n black) with a thin long yellow connector ... what does it connect to ?? its always been loose.... it comes from a bunch of wires below the manifold area???

some please help before i blow something like the ecu or it catches light!!! :cry: :x :cry: :?:

i just changed the thermostat n housing due to a leak..... took a coulple of day coz need to drill out some rotten bolts.....

there is no leak now ive only filled it with water ....

the temp is a about 100 mark

anyway when i put it above 2000 revs sometimes the rev counter goes crazy up n down and you hear i electrical click, and the car starts to not want to go n jerks alott????? also when i remove the MAF plug when runnin the car stays on ..... before this it would turn off??? what part that ive touched could make this happen??? COILPACK? THE YELLOW BLUE BLACK PLUG ??? I DIDNT MOVE THE MAF THAT DAY?? THE HEAT?? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
