i dont think the leak is the bottle or cap cos there both new!!

there is presure when hot if you squeeze the hoses theres no give until it cools down....

could a airlock be the reason for it comimg out the bottle?? water still turns a rusty colour when the pink coolent gets old

after a longer journey there is no sign of milkshake n the oil cap,but only noticed the milkshake yesterday, aftera short journey for the first time.

The dip stick is clean and no white but it always shows max oil.

Could the water leak be connected to the problem?

yesterday after a very short drive i looked at under the oil cap and what did i find?? a white drop on it!!!! can this only mean one the?? water on the oil cap?? it didnt appear later when i checked !!!

ave i blown the head?

other problems it has is a slight water leak like 1once a week it needs a top up even after i changed the bottle n cap !!!

it leak abit from the therm housing ( got parts to change for that)

but also its leaking out the top of the bottle not from the lid though like it might be blowing it out

could this just be air lock?

could the white water be oil cooler or just wishful thinking?

ok then how about a superchager??

or a turbo??

is there space on a corrado v6 and is there big future problems like blowing turbo or engine death?

no i didnt mean the idle goes down even though it does

i ment the noise takes a drop like it missed a beat

so it will run in whatever way then drop for a sec the back again not the revs though just the sound and you a kinda feel it too

the what sort of power change would i get if i fitted a schrick mainifold? or a schrick cam?? any?

ok dont know just how to explane but here goes

when my vr is at idle at times it will sound like errrrrrrrm it drops like erm

it will run as normal then it will sound like a drop it the running then back to normal again??

like brum brum brum drop then brum brum brum???lol like it misses a beat!

if anyone unerstands what i mean then ?/? could it be the maf? or coilpack missing a beat?? or is it something to do with timing or worse still??

been told by a bosch place that 53 quid to check the maf n coilpack? worth it?

i keep seeing different kinds of injectors for sale like audi rs ones green ones brown ones ect.......

can you fit other injectors to a stanard vr6 car?? or would you need to mod more parts??

would it make a diff?? or just use more gas then catch alight?? lol

ok well here's what i think

ive tried slick50 and zx1 on golfs and other cars

every time i used them not long after id here tappet noise! wasnt like that before i used them!!

also starting using oil fast where as before it wouldnt use any!!??

on a good point took the golf for a mot and it past the the guy looked at the dip stick and it was bone dry!"!!! so in that case zx1 did save my engine!

ps i no nothing about engines!!

ive just changed the oil on my corrado vr6

is it any good changing it every 1000 miles?? can it do bad???

dont see it as a waste of money as 10 quid goes in all the time so why not spend the same on oil every now and then!?

can someone please tell me what the tool i need to put gearbox oil in??

if im looking at the correct bolt it looks like its a reverse of a normal bolt?

what size is it ? where can i get it from?

also been told on here that i should try redex oil in the gearbox? is it called redex gearbox oil??? cant find it in the shops?

ive had prices for a full met respray at £700 £800 and £1100

the first to seem to be a very good body shop oven n all

the 1100 is one that i know is a great place ive seen old rolls coming out of there looking as new perfect!!! the type the queen has!!!

END OF THE DAY if they can spray a car and charge for it then they should do a perfect job or you shouldnt pay??? shame thats not always the case!!!!

but there is something strange.... im not sure if its me being para but you can feel allsorts!!! gear changing into second is a task on my car !! it goes in every time but it takes a sec or 2 though i slammed it in yesterday n it went in ok but still like forcing it in

a while back there was a funny feeling when pulling off like the mounts might ave gone but that seems to have gone now im getting a knock in the steering at times instead.....

how do i know if its a gearbox problem or gearlinkage?

its hard to get into second like ive gotta put it in 2nd slowly and carful but the other gears dont seem to bad!

my vr6 seems to have a problem with the gears

ive heard v6 are prone to linkage problems so wondering whats whats?

mine doesnt go into 2nd very easy its like i gotta do it slowly?? it dont grind

how would i know if its linkage ? clutch? or gearbox problem??

the other gears aint to bad fairly easy to get into just that second gear!!! i know if i put it in second it does push slightly against the aircon pipe

my corrado v6 seems to have a interior water leak!!

at first i thought it was something to do with the heater as i noticed drips coming from what i think is the air con hoses that enter the car in the passenger foot bit?

but now i notice it only happens when it rains??

so im guessing rain is gettting in the the car..

the passenger foot well gets soaked

is this common?

you might be right maybe its the pressure!!

its easy to spot under the bonnet but not under the car where the filter is

just changed my fuel fiter on my cor

after getting fuel in my eye n bumping my head i managed it

it had non removable clips that had to be cut off??

the new ones i put are jubilee clips >>>> is this ok??

also why am i now gettin a leak from the fuel rail end when i never went nowhere near that end??

it leaks from the entry hose on the fuel rail??

my corrado seems to be leaking alot in the passengers foot side?

its a vr6 with aircon

im not sure if its the heater or just the rain but its coming from the top end of the foot hole

ive felt it dipping off these two hoses thsat i can see up there
