I tried looking on ebay feedback but as it was a few months ago you only get the item number now so it would take ages going through my purchases, copying and pasting.

I bought that much that I can't remember exactly but I think they came through eBay ?? but I had a search for you on eBay and couldn't find anymore ?? When I get a chance I will try and find the receipt.

I will get new dust covers as I see it now. I don't know what calipers they are to be honest as I don't pick it up til Saturday. I will find out more then, the calipers were £75 each.

Couple of quick snaps of the new brakes on the front and rear taken by the garage. Front calipers will get painted black to match the rear ones, obviously never had them before it went in so they are silver just now. MOT and handbrake cables then bleed the brakes tomorrow.

I've not received an email, any chance of sending another please ? Chris

Garage just called to tell me that my nearside front caliper is seized, I knew that I should have bought new ones at the same time as doing all the rest of the brakes :bonk: Pair of new front calipers it is then :thumbleft: The result is the car has pretty much a new braking system and new suspension. Coolant change being done as well as the brake fluid change. Hopefully it will be a well fettled car after all this, not that there was anything wrong initially

Good progress buddy and get the pics up. I've still to clean and wax the wheel arches etc and my brakes are all getting replaced too.

Yes I did and have done on other cars but wimped out for no reason really :shrug: As its my first year with the car I wanted all the brakes sorted and the remaining suspension parts replaced before using it. I'm struggling for free time between my 2 boys, getting my house ready for selling, looking for a new house and work. I get " preferential rates " from my mates garage so thought I would just get it all done in one go (sold my mk1 parts to cover the bill) Then I will start doing all the other jobs like stereo, speakers, window, heater control, wheel arch clean down, all door surrounds and jams back to immaculate etc etc so it's as good as it can be for the better weather :thumbleft: Oh your car is a peach btw !!!

Hopefully I have got all the correct parts but I may be wrong. Rear has new discs, pads, abs sensors and abs rings, new rear wheel bearings for in the discs and new brake hoses and handbrake cables. I hope that's correct ?? but Corrados are new to me !!

Lol I see it now but I couldn't work it out before. I wish I had won it so I had more money to spend on it !!

What do u mean with did you win the car ?? I think all or most wind deflectors are smoked and I only get Heko which are decent quality. Cheers

Car dropped at garage for the works and a couple of pics at VW on the way.

So the car never went to the garage last Saturday because of the snow, so I drop it off tomorrow. Looked through its wee history file and found a Corrado disc presumably the PDF of the Bentley manual. Also it has fsh all stamped up in its original book pack even with the original salesmans business card etc. A few tax discs and receipts with most of its mots but a few missing. Once I get a mo I need to get the wheels over for refurb and when they return, when I'm fitting them I will detail in the wheel arches and wax for protection. Taxed it today on direct debit continuously so it can be enjoyed whenever.

I was wanting the tinted ones as swaps with the clears when I fancied but kept the pennies as the spends were getting carried away with as usual :bonk:

I was tempted to buy them to swap with my clear ones

I bought it last September and not had much chance to enjoy it yet because of our wonderful winter.

My original Sony is a XR-5509RDS tape player

Snow stops play and car not going into next Saturday now.
