Just wanted to say big thanks top bloke got 2 really good condition front wings, the old valver is starting to take shape.

I like SGS Stuff, was looking at getting a compressor from there at some point. Bought two jack, axle stand and other bits from them and been happy with it all.

Tempted to go with SGS can get 100L 14cmf and 3hp motor for under £250. At the end of the day not going to be used much.

Thanks, anybody used or know of SGS or cobra, come in my price range.

Hi looking to get a compressor to do a bit of spraying and use air sander, anyone got any recommendations looking to spend £300 ish.

Hi all got the front end off the car at the moment sorting out all the rusty bits.

Is it a good idea to replace cross member bushes and the front engine mount? Not planning on changing the other mounts at the moment, also any thing else service wise I should look at while having access. Thanks

the radiator carrier is seperate from the the engine cradle

Ok thanks, so to get it out will need to support the engine and remove the mount. It needs to be gone more rust than metal.

Given the condition they're in I personally wouldn't want them sent by post to avoid any dings, but will package them if you're happy for this.

 

Any idea on how to package other than load of bubble wrap and then cover with cardboard?

I would love to collect these but live in Devon so just not feasible, The courier I have contacted specialise in moving car parts not cheap but hopefully a little more careful.

Last time I had a body panel sent bubble wrap and card board with fragile written all over it was fine, let me know what you think re price to include packing obviously sent at my risk.

Hi guys, can any body help iam fitting new wheel bearings into new rear disk and I think something's not quite right, when I put the front bearing surround in it's not very tight I can almost push in with my hand and it spins when in place. I am not expert so any advise would me much appreciated.
