  3. Thanks for the feedback folks. Flush it may be - and new stat. See how it goes. Low temp switches ? Or not. ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Folks sorry I know it’s been asked loads but I’ve been searching round looking for where to source a low temp thermostat and fan switch for my m plate vr6. Has anyone got any part numbers to help? Or somewhere to source. Saw something on awesome gti but thermostat was £50! I’m hoping to get car back on road and engine temps I remember concerned me so these wee mods may help. Any chance?
  5. Sold sorry. To a chap in Edinburgh. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I enquired about the glasgow 1 owner vr. didnt view but the guys is talking 2.5K - with more than panels needing replacing. the storm project in glasgow looks an overall better bet.
  7. Using as a daily just now - really need to get back to something more "daily". Then I can focus on the vr project. I just hate hanging around trying to sell cars. I'm effectively losing cash at the current price but want it cheap enough to get some interest. Zero viewing so far. I think it's a bargain motd g60 now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. 2250 without Porsche wheels . £2600 with. Anyone?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Folks £2500 now - bargain! £2750 with an extra set of wheels (Porsche /mint/new tyres and adapters) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. £2700 for anyone for a quick sale? Got to be worth more but bargain for someone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Here is my g60 corrado. It has recently been painted so looks relatively fresh. Just needs flattened and polished to bring it up nice. It has had plenty done in last few months including all new temp sensors/senders, leaking heater matrix replaced, spark plugs, oil, filters, water pump, timing belt, super charger rebuild, low temp thermostat. Also new front tyres. Some issues I haven't gotten to yet/ in the process of ... spoiler only works off the button, central locking comes and goes. It needs side window inserts replacing. Being honest with the bits needed. Not much to finish it perfect. I am using the car daily and it goes well. Will only appreciate in value. It's has the big stuff done. Brakes etc also all good and plenty mot (feb) Aside from some wear on drivers bolster the interior is good. Headlining needs a clean. I'd consider swaps etc or cash my way. Any questions just text. Will get better pics up later. Many thanks Reduced from £3950 to £2995 for quick sale!
  13. Sounds like the owner is a stickler which is good. Dealership agreeing to keep it under cover while they have it over the weekend etc - sounds like he cares for it. Will double check but sounds like lpg has been serviced yearly - guy has had it 8 years or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Loads of mates suggesting "steer clear" , "if you'd seen what I have seen" etc etc! Not sure what though lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. It's the supercharged vogue I've seen. 2005. Same owner for 8 years (since the lpg was added). A lot of car for the money. I guess lpg makes it do more like reasonable mpg. Wondering about inherent issues to watch for. Gearboxes as mentioned seem to be an issue but more on the diesels? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. £295 me thinks - pre 2006. 2006 onwards goes up to £515 for all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Getting a lot of negatives elsewhere. If it does the same mpg on gas then cost equivalent is over 40mpg! Even if you only use gas some of the time that's good going. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I'm considering a circa 2005 Range Rover as my wife's daily. Anyone with any experience of them. Petrol v diesel? I have seen a v8 petrol with lpg conversion - could that be the best of both worlds ? Any ideas appreciated. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Both turned out to be alligned. My cousin arrived today after I got the charger out - checked the pulleys and all lined up. I assume he set to 6 and 12 and then realised it wouldn't go together/turn free by hand - and so then went for 12 and 12 . So I was worrying about nothing - that'll be the reason it didn't go bang! Thanks for all the help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I drove it home but no explosions. Fingers crossed I can get it back out and adjust it . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. After rebuilding my g60 supercharger yesterday I have discovered that both keyways on the 2 pulleys should be at 12 o'clock to set the timing. However yesterday we set them to 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock so facing one another if that makes sense. The car is supposed to be going for a paint today will I cause any damage by running it with the timing out.? I've tried removing the belt between the two pulleys and turning the top pulley however this seems difficult (not possible) do I need to disconnect any of the air pipes in order to allow me to turn the top pulley? I know I am missing something and worried about causing damage. Help please anyone . !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Perhaps someone added later Bonnet to this one then? If it's a 90 it'll be early arches etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Folks I am considering buying another Corrado as A sort of donor for my long-term project. I have found a 1990 car but seems to have the raised Bonnet and the late interior. I know these are the things to look out for to make these parts work for my 94 m plate vr however are any of the other panels different? I am wondering if someone has replaced the interior and bonnet at some point with the later versions. For instance I'm sure that the later cars had different wheel arches etc. Any guidance to help me please? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I'm in Scotland so likely a fair way away. Thanks for the offer however. I will take a look at the pump tomorrow fingers crossed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Can i ask - what sort of connection will go to the lock? I will take the door card off this weekend and investigate. No loose fuses but what fuse works the central locking? Re the pump and vacuum lines etc where will i find all of this ? I have read something about the boot? Any guidance would be smashing. I'll have a search too. thanks again
