  1. There have been a few issues with the relay for the fuel pump not working in recent weeks.. it seems certain problems with the Corrado are seasonal! quote]

     

    Also, it seems that when the fuel filter cuts out whilst priming, it sounds like it clicks around the relay area, so you may be onto something here. Ill have another look now.


  2. changed the battery only few months ago!! as for spar plugs, I pray its as simple as that!!!!! But if got a feeling the c's terminal tis time. :cry:

     

     

    just tried turning it again, when i turn the key, b4 ignition, i do not here the usual noise of the fuel pump.....which prob explains y it wont fire up. what could this mean?


  3. My car has been on the driveway for 4 weeks, w/o petrol, dead battery, little oil, and coolant. I have filled it up now with all of the above, and it wont start. It does turn, but it wont fire up. help, have i killed my car?


  4. Do what to a corner at 80? You can go round them in corrados at 150...just not very tight ones!

     

    lol id love to see that!!!

     

    rallye all the way, if u can get used to lhd.....it will thrash all corrados on the road, and imo is by far the elite of classic vws.

    just above the pic is i have beeen told an earth metal thingy near the top of the strut, ive stuck it on there

     

    radiator fan is cool now! but id stil liket o know exactly where it goes

     

    its def the neutral wire, live is already connected, as the fan will turn on at random times


  6. nasty leak in my car. Maybe gasket, im not too sure, till i jet wash it i couldtn r eally tell, but if anyone can tell me, y would there be an oil leak from the distributor???

     

    also, are there any corrado enthusiasts living local to kingston??? if so help me please!!!!!

    it owuld s\ve me from putting up vague posts!
