I think the direction control dial has two bowden cables attached to it. One does up to the screen (defroster), the other down to feet.

I can't understand why anyone would want rid of it on a daily driver. Even the best driver (by which I mean professional) couldn't even hope to cadence break as effectively as ASB does the job. I'd be inclined to leave it in place. You never know - one day you might be pleased you did.

Surely nothing would beat a current shape Mondeo for the money?

Change your brake fluid. It's most probably caused by moisture in the fluid. Water has a much lower boiling point then brake fluid. As a conseuqence, when you brake, the water boils, compresses, and the pedal goes soft. Re-applying the brake should restore full braking force, but it can certainly make for some hairy moments. :pale:

EDIT: I am wrong. Also bear in mind that many of the ones people are seeing today are likely to be replicas. Genuine ones are worth an absolute fortune.

But what technical advancements have they actually made? It's all been done before elsewhere. The whole development of this car has been a farce - how many times have they put back the launch?! You get the impression that Bugatti failed to realise just how much work would be involved when they announced in a my-dad's-harder-than-your-dad kind of way, that they could build a road car that was quicker than the McLaren F1 (an eleven year old car, no less). I think if they could have quietly dusted it under the carpet and hoped nobody noticed, they would have - like Blown says, it's just a face-saving exercise now. Having said all that - awesome performance, nonetheless.

Anyone know if they do a screen with a built in sunstrip at the top á la Riley's, but green?
