  2. Very nice pics kev, looks like we went down same route with all the the engine mods, from schrick to turbo :) Time you turned boost up :norty:
  3. ****. A preconcieved notion built in by other peoples conceptions. I love speed and power. It's only financial considerations that limit my opportunities. Sorry for going off track. Geriatric speedfreak Yeah I thought once I'd gone past 35, I'd slow down and mature a bit, but I'm just as reckless and silly as I was 20 years ago, if not more so  Im the same mate
  4. MK5 R32 , have no regrets buying mine. Try one 8)
  5. 993 or 997 Turbo , the 996 were crap You drive 996 then try 997 and feel the difference
  6. Mine in Golf+ :) motivator1416785.jpg[/attachment:1lais4ld]
  7. Knew should have gone to Dave walker for my mapping  Sorry Ben, nice work buddy :)
  8. Im missing VRT action :( Like to see dyno plots of a GT3076 making over 500bhp at 16psi , sorry ben its sounds bit far out
  9. understand what your saying, i like mine more OEM . Its what floats your boat :)
  10. Kev that trick bit of kit, i like it :) Time you up the boost mate, i see Ben up to 510bhp /488lbft  Glad i sold mine now or i would be spending£££££££££££££££££ keeping up with you lot  Think i mite keep the R simple with coils & rims and few body mods for now
  11. Its only worth what someone willing to pay :? Thats a stunning corrado with some very nice parts ,but how well has it been put together. I know mine had no welding or filler anywhere.
  12. Mine will have Turbo before his
  13. Got to say 400bhp in a corrado is nice, do miss it :( Think may need more bhp with the extra weight of the 4wd this time round
  14. It was amazing car, and its in good hands. Andy got some great plans for it, hope he keep this thread alive :) Need to get some pics of your mk3 up, be nice to see it. Can't beat VR with Turbo, best sound ever. Times move on and im over the moon with the R32 , theres so much grip and so smooth. Its simple things thats so nice like air-con , xenon headlights, etc that the corrado did'nt have. May be its just me getting older :? DBP is best colour :D
  15. got no problems at all  Air-con is so nice
  16. Are the Bilstein fully adjustable, need to do bit more reading up on what coilovers to go for :?
  17. I was the one that said i would never sell my Rado, but after driving a modern car with 4wd ,ESP ,DSG ,air-con ,air-bags, etc, etc you just got to move forward The corrado was an amazing car with turbo and all the power but it never would go round a corner like the R32 does :) Even if i made it 4wd Still will always have soft spot for the rado , stunning looking car. Do miss it :( But the R32 has got lots of great points too :D
  18. think it will be KWs as they were spot on with the corrado. Having so much fun at the moment with 4wd, took it out late last night and must say its quicker then the corrado on the roads over here, the grip is amazing, and to know i can make even better with coilovers and better tyres will be fun. The DSG is also great in manual with the paddle shift, its so smooth and so quick to change. These cars are the way forward :) This car as just got to have boost  need to get saving
  19. This reply i got This exhaust system is available from Capristo, the price is £1897.50 + vat. Shipping will be around £30.00 door to door (sent direct from Germany).
  20. Exactly. Having done the Schrick, then S/C etc on your 12V, you now know it's best and more sensible to go straight to the turbo :D £2K for 15hp is ridiculous and it still won't solve the R32's lack of urge past 3500rpm. Anything over £500 for a bit of bent pipe and some generic silencers is just taking the p1ss imo. So it frees off a bit of power, that's no excuse to charge a comedy price for it. I also find 15-24hp post *standard* cat gains extremely optimistic too. I'd like to see 24hp repeated across at least 5 standard cars before I'd eat my hat :D It seems like the old 12V tuning tax has now moved onto the R32  A £2000 investment in a MK5 GTI will bag you over 400hp! Anyway, nice to see you getting stuck into your new project mate. Looking forward to seeing what wheels you put on it, they're bound to be special knowing you :D Just one thing though, 5 door??! :pukeright:  Kev, whats the user name all about :? did i miss something :) Im long way off going turbo mate, wheels ,KWs and few other bits first. Im getting old mate, you will be into 5 door soon
  21. This is the best place for Turbo goodies http://www.atpturbo.com/ :) I always used them
  22. Thats a lot of money, rather put it towards a turbo :)
