thx for your replys guys, My car is running very rich at the mo (im getting about 20 mpg on a good day) my petrol consumption seems to be getting progressively worse. I notice that while driving when changing gears my revs seem to "stick" when I depress the clutch then start to drop!!! I have replaced all my vacuum hoses and I have ordered a new Lambda sensor. Would a non operational ISV have the same effect? because it has power going to it but I cant hear it make ANY noise or vibration, but I dont get any major idle problems............

How can I get away with no cat at next mot? Is the KR cam swap just that ? Are the existing valves used? Keep me posted how you get on coullstar .... PM me if you want good luck with the mod !!!! Edit : If you get bored of your vr6 jimbob sell it to me !!! :wink:

I love my C but the only drawback is that it is SLOW........ I am not a boy racer but I got left for dead by a 1.6 pug the other day with 4 people in it !! I am sure some of you hardcore peeps could give me a few pointers on how I could improve the situation. Can I increase performance noticably for say £500 with the 9A engine?

Cheers Fla, Top priority is some clear side repeaters! I dont know what you mean by FK rear lights. I havn`t had the car long and have only just started to sort things out and the interior is bog standard ( see above thread). The look of the exterior is pretty much how I want it now but as and when things happen to the interior and engine I will post more pics ........ :D Edit : I just seen those front lights that Banana Man has on his yellow C and I MUST HAVE THEM !!!!!!!!! Jees I must stop looking at this site or I will be living in a card board box soon ........... Edit : Banana Man just told me the lights are photoshop`d on........ :cry: :cry:

Thx Andy , the whole car is pretty much standard apart from the side skirts , alloys and lowered slightly. Will start on the interior and engine bay when funds permit !!

On the control unit inside the car there is a White adjusting screw. Turn Clockwise to REDUCE pulse and turn ANTI - CLOCKWISE to INCREASE pulse.

No Andy they are standard .....

Help , does anyone know where I can get hold of new MAF for a 9A engine ? or equivalent part, does not have to be OEM. Cheers.

My exhaust used to rub on rear axle. have adjusted it and only rubs now when I got 3 passengers.... But looking under the car at the back box the rubber "Hooks" or mounts seem to Sag or stretch quite a lot. Do these things that Super mention above reduce this "sag"? And if so where can I get em from??? Please don`t say do a search becuase its nigh on impossible to find what you want by searching on here !!!

It may well be Kerrinmay, I think it might have had a front end knock some time in its past but I never knew that the bonnets were different. I will investigate....................

Ok Heres a few pics could someone also advise me on the exact Colour of my C. I am also thinking of getting it sprayed Black , but it looks black at night and you can see the metallic blue when the sun shines on it ! so I am unsure what to do.All my mates like the colour it is now ........

I am getting a load of rattles and stuf coming from my speakers. The back shelf I will build my own out of thick MDF and new speakers. The problem for the fronts is............ is it worth getting some pods ( like Audioscape) and fitting some good speakers . Or can I get away with mounting good speakers in the existing pods??? Is it worth paying ALOT of money for the Audioscapes or are there any Cheaper alternatives ????

OMG I am new to this forum and corrado. The only thing I would really like for my C at the moment is to upgrade the Interior as it is prety naff. Yours looks at first glance exactly like a corrado interior but just oozes quality . Nice very subtle.I looked at those piccys of yours and nearly shot my load !!!!! No joking aside that is a nice car the only thing I dont like is the wheels or the way they sit on your rims. They dont look natural but the rest of the car does. I havnt bothered reading all of the thread or I would be an old man before I finish reading it, so have you any other plans for it?
