This is a link to the Kef website......they have info on every speaker they have done........which is nice. http://www.kef.com/history/1980/c20.htm just found technical info for my headunit....and it will do 4-8 ohm.....so in theory, it should work.

I had been thinking about making a stealth shelf......esp after reading the shelf thread......and have thought about using a set of drive units from an old set of KEF speakers that I have.......the main unit is about 8" with a tweeter. The speakers sound sweet in their enclosure.......wondered if anyone else had tried this. I have next week off work, and plan to do some work to the c....esp sorting out the speakers.....give it a good polish etc.

The rear speakers are shafted......have been since I bought it.......I wanted to get a cheap stop gap until I can do a propper install. I remember seeing someone on here say that the rear speakers were 6x4. I spotted a set of JBL 6x4 for £50 in Halfords.......thought they'd be an improvement over the blown ones that are already in there. Is that the correct dimensions or did I dream it all??. Thanks Henny.....as long as the temp is supposed to flash a few times.......that's all I need to know.......I'd obviously never noticed it before.........I've only had it for 3 1/2 months.

I wonder if someone might be able to help......... I dont have my user manual with me at work....but I noticed at lunch time that when you turn the ignition (just prior to turning over the engine) a red light with a temp symbol flashes. I dont really want to wait till I get home incase I do any damage to the car....... I have a 1991 J plate 1.8 16v. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
