    Dynamat

Valver you are a life saver i have been gettin vibrations and i was about to spend loads on Dynamat, now im off to get some Marley Tape. Anyone else with budget Sound mods>
  3. spit and polish are ment to be good aswell, they charge £50 per wheel, well they did when my mate got his done and they collected them, but i cant remember if paid extra for that.
  4. dam i forgot about international. must be having a blonde day. has anyone got the number as i wanna be there for the beer....i mean friday......whoever gives me the number gets a drink on me
  5. Chris did someone have a go on your handles, coz i only used to put them on golfs once someone has had a go with a screwdriver to hide the damage. With golfs anyway if you put them on before and someone tried to get into the car it would just end up with more damageto the door. They dont look bad at all, though ppl who dont like them could always paint them.
  6. To firstly answer pauls question, i bought the tint spray from GTI International about four years ago and it cost me £10. I have not touched the red but when you spray the top black they just look redder (if that makes sence :? ). I do wax the lights to make them gloss. I have seen other people's lights and they have come out dull. I took the lights off washed them with Fairy liquid, made sure they were completely dry by leaving them in the sun for an hour them applied thin coats and mine came out gloss. so the extra time pays off because if they look dull they really look horrible, but your car is blue and might look better with white on top. And yes they still shine amber. Chris the 'sport' badge was a way of hiding it was a 16v. I am always lookin at VR6's so it's a way to confuse most people, and the Tej badge........well thats my name. .. Simple as that doesn't mean anything. Well in punjabi it means Fast, and the interior is just standard Grey/Platinum seats, apart from the extra gauges everything is just as Karmann intended.
  7. hey anyone had this problem??? I was driving around today, not fast just at about 30, had to turn in a went over some water (not massive just a shallow puddle) and suddenly the stearing went rock soild i had to use two arms just to turn!!!! so parked up and it took at least 30 secs before it was back to normal. I came home checked the fluid, it was fine i topped it up, and the belts were not lose, but im gonna take it to the garage to have this checked. This was a bit scary, if this has happened to anyone else and if it has how did you solve it. Tej
  8. I have to agree with everyone here that is no Corrado and i dont think VW will have the guts to call it a Corrado either. I did see some pics of some concept designs that came out of Karmann and as these were the guys who built the original C i think they will have a better idea to what the new car will look like. has anyone seen that coupe that Audi are bringing out, cant remember the name but really agressive looking. That is what they should call a corrado.
  9. Hey Paul, it has had a new top coat done. the original colour is the metalic burgendy, but the topcoat is a blackberry one. I thought it would look ok and it has come out quite nice, with the rear lights you need some sissors, masking tape and some time on your hands. i just looked at the lights and you'll see there are some lines across them, measure them cut small strips and then spray with normal tint spray. good luck :D
  10. Here is my car, couple of pics of the little mods i have done. Its a 1990 16v. have not done anything to the engine apart from a K&N filter and new HT leads, although i cant wait to get started. The straight-through grill is home made and is my first attempt (too many years of blue peter) lol. The pics arnt great i have just taken them with my phone but i will get some better ones up soon. P.S its a small pic but i have done my rear lights slighty different from any other i have seen. I can say this as i have been to GTI International for the past six years and have never seen anyone with it. Can you spot the difference?
  11. nice one dan, and i really like the wheels, bit different but still all VAG.
