  1. I’ve lowered mine about 40mm with shorter shocks a springs, and I’m really regretting it!! It’s so bouncy and at the same time so hard I’m really fed up with this set that I’m going to back to the standard height. The worst of all is the rear right hand wheel must be off set because if I hit a dip in the road too fast the tyre touches the inner lip of the arch which obviously does it no good. If any of you have an idea let us know cheers. James

    Which grill?

I like both but the three slate is more aggressive, you should try painting the three slated grill to get the best of both.

    chip & pully

this is from the e-mail group. I have managed to find an original VAG part number for the 21mm shorter "Poly V-belt", "Mono belt", "Fan belt" or whatever you like to call it. I would recommend fitment of this belt with a 68mm (smaller) 'charger pulley. Part No : 078 903 137 AN (1637mm long) Available either from your local stealership or from http://www.gsfcarparts.com - £14.10 inc vat.

    chip & pully

Hi I’ve been reading the e-mail group posts and they were saying you can use the tensioner but a shorter belt seems to be a better solution, they reckon there is less slip with the shorter belt. Ask Darren or Dubcharger they should be able to give a clear answer. How is the70mm pulley I’ve always heard people going for the 68 or the 65 pulley?
  15. 128 if it makes you fill better!!! You can barely see the difference on the speedo and normally I’ve got my eyes on the road at that speed.
