  1. Give my mate £20??? your having a gg7aph aint ya
  2. Well hes paid up now anyway. Yeah my mate should have told him £80 but he'd just got out of bed so just took the money off him. I wasnt gonna get agro over £20, but it was just the principle thats all.
  3. Had some wheels for sale on here for £80 but they where at my mates house miles away from where i live. Told him he can pick them up from my mates and just give him the money. Found out today he only gave him £60. GG7aph then said cant blame him for chancing his luck! Gypo! i know its only £20 but its the fact he did it cos i was not there!
  4. Have you tried the fuses first? there should be one for dipped and one main beam each side.
  5. I replaced the rad switch again and its all fine now. The dodgy part was from the UK and the good one was from Germany :?
  6. it a 93 VR. I know the fan comes on at 100 oC. which must be speed 2 as it used to come as around 90 oC and never really went above that.
  7. Where are the fuses tho??? they are not next to the 50amp one like on other controllers.
  8. All my cooling system was working perfectly until I had a leak at the bottom of the aux water pump on my 93 VR, so i pulled it off and it snapped. I then got a new one and fitted it as it was noisy anyway, this is when the problems started. My battery went dead and the culprit was that the aux pump and the fan kept going with the ignition off all night. After looking through all the search things i changed the rad switch first. this stopped them running on all night but now the rad fan dont work and the 10 mins after run dont work either (just the aux comes on with the ignition). I thought i would check the fuses that should be on the fan controller box next, there is only the big 50amp one there tho where are the other 2 smaller ones that i have seen on other peoples controllers? It does seem strange tho that when i replace the aux pump i have these problems, as the rad switch is not that old anyway :(
  9. Does anyone have VAG-com near Guildford and be so kind as to scan my car for me. Its a 93 VR so i think it the 2+2 pulg? Cheers
  10. I think Phil K is gonna sort one out for me, if he manages to get it back from his mate.
  11. Has anyone got a caliper rewind tool i can use this weekend to change my rear pads please? I have never seen so many corrado's as i see in Guildford. I can honestly say i see a different one everyday! Dunno if there are all on here tho?
  12. whats the difference between oils that are labled for diesel and ones for petrol? I should know about this stuff really as i used to do a bit of Kinimatic viscosity and do Ricaard (spelling) anti-ware testing and use a shell 4 ball tester as well.
  13. Ive wanted an Elise for a while now, but didnt want to sell my car, so i got my self a ZXR 600 Ninja last month to keep me happy. I dont really want to die on a bike now so i want to sell both and get an elise. Rado VR prices seem to be all over the place at the mo, so how much do you think i should ask for? (this is not a for sale ad mods :D ) 93 VR6 in Bordeaux pearl met 118k miles FVWSH up to about 90K including all reciepts 9 months MOT, 3 months tax 17" fake splits with good tyres red/black rear lights SS cat back K&N cone momo race steering wheel Cloth seats All electrics work both fogs are cracked uprated headlights Its got quite a few stonechips and has a few carpark dings also includes 4 speedlines and some 288 calipers, carriers, discs and pads which i havent got round to fitting yet.
  14. Thanks, Yeah i think the rear lights suit the colour well, if you look closer you will see another car ditched just behind on the other side! was very sureal seeing all these cars like that, there was about 10 in all. I like the Gunfire sign as well. Dunno what the rims are? they say fake splits and say Titanium on them but thats about all i know. Would make a huge difference if i lowered it tho.
  15. just found a few pics on my phone from when i was in the lake district for the last few months. Who says the traction control doesnt work on Corrado's!!
  16. yeah just off the head unit, and yes it has ABS its a 93 VR6. Also do i need some extra speaker wire and where would i put the crossovers?
  17. Hi, I got some infinity componants for x-mas and i want to fit them myself as the audio place wants £50 to fit them! So would someone be able to give me a step by step guide to fitting them. I know how to take the doorcards off so its just the wiring, crossovers and tweeters i need help with really, but you may be able to put this all in the Wiki if its a good guide? Thanks
  18. Just been looking on VAGparts website and ive found these extra corrado gauges, has anyone got a picture of them fitted? https://sslrelay.com/s74326199.oneandon ... shopscript Thanks

    ICE

I think it was Volksdevil who posted them pictures? in his black G60.
  20. Another leaking Vr6  I found a small leak on the oil cooler to plastic pipe hose but when i was moving it the plastic transfer ipe moved as well and now leaks coolant from the water pump end, is it just the seal thats gone? Should this pipe be able to move round like it does or should it be fixed in place? Also how do you get it out? Thanks
  21. Have you got any more pics of that kit car? whats the black one on the left?
  22. Its not really a buzzing sound, more a high pitched noise. I also found last night a suitable tap on the dashboard above the switch stops it?
  23. my 93 VR does exactly the same thing! yeah as you say, turn the brightness down then up and it goes for a bit but then comes back! I only notice it because i turn the lights on before i put the stereo on. Do you not think its coming from the actual headlight switch itsself?
  24. Thats a bit of a wide statement to make tho, as a solvent could be anything. I probably have all the things at work that they use in swissol/zymol (or could very easily get a sample of), but when you say solvent they dont use anything harsh. on the instructions they tell you to melt it in your hand! (Autogylm ect.. do use harsh solvents which is why they have Hazard codes) Carnauba is rock hard and takes some serious melting cos when you have over 30% in the formulation it starts to get really hard ( i know cos ive tried). Its obviously in the art of manufacture which is why they still hand blend them i think. (Also the reason why they put lots of fruit smelling extracts in is because the carnauba wax smells really really bad when it molten!!) This costs about $5000, just wish i could make it! Zymol Royale Glaze (50oz.) It was originally formulated to protect the finish of the Bugatti Royale, a rare late 1920's ultra-luxury car (only about half a dozen were built) so meticulously crafted and exquisitely engineered that today it is considered a work of art. Suitable for all paint types and colors. Royale Glaze contains 70% Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba by volume, which is the absolute highest quality available anywhere! Ingredients: Contains white carnauba sap, Montan Evergreen Oil, Sunflower Oil, Cantaloupe Oil, Coconut Oil, Honeydew extract, Strawberry extract, Propolis (derived from bees) and pure glycerin. Royale Glaze contains 70% Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba by volume.
  25. Riley, I can get grade 1 Canauba from work! Ive tried to make my own but i still dont know how people like Swissol get more than 60% Canauba in there expensive waxes and still make it quite soft. Canauba in its original state is supposed to be harder than concrete!
