I used the clamps that came with the HEL fuel lines they sent so assumed they were suitable, but having checked again they are just worm drive type clamps with an aluminium capping piece. I did notice that when I found the leak and retightened they did seem a bit loose. I will swap them out.
The only nice thing is they finish off the braided hose quite nicely and stop any fraying.
I would have assumed the same as well tbh...maybe you can you use a band of heatshrink tubing.

jubilee style clips don't supply a consistent tension, can distort if over-tightened and damage the hose. Use OEM style clamps or proper injection hose clamps

Congrats mate, awesome work....always surreal to see your car outside once its been tucked up for a long while

I changed my FPR today with both my old one from my white corrado (orig part) and a new bosch 4 bar item. Just trying to cure long crank when warm still...
Anyway - before changing when I disconnect the vac line my engine note noticeably changes, a touch higher revs. Trying both bosch and my old one the engine note does not noticeably change when disconnecting the vac line. Perhaps a slight lumpy idle but nothing noticeable.
No idea what that means. Have left the new bosch fpr installed for now.
Weather is too miserable to test.
Be interesting to see some live data whilst disconnecting / swapping bit out

Awesome reply fella!....will let you know how i get on

that's good to know.
The coil overs on my car are literally disintegrating, I just want to get somethings thats fit and forget, i mean often does the average joe really adjust coil overs?
My only concern is the extra gubbins needed to go back to non coil overs, do you get all the bits in the Koni kit? or do you need extra parts? also wheres a good place to purchase all the bits from Cheers

Great work chap...hats off to you!

Amazing work chap! crazy attention to detail 🙏

Inspirational work mate....makes me want to pull my finger out and get mine sorted
Also thinking of going down the Koni / H&R route...how are you finding the ride height?
-
All sorted now...massive thanks to Yanmack for sorting out some A1 parts 🙂

3 hours ago, fla said:This looks stunning, do you really want to break it? Btw, what supercharger do you have on it as i'm thinking of the same myself. What a supercharged VR like to live with (i know some make an annoying whining noise....)? Mine has aircon, so just wondering if that would be an issue for an intercooler.
Ive picked up another project, and dont want to have multiple cars, space becomes and issue lol. Problem is I have sunk a fortune into the black one, its a basically a new engine...literally. The engine was the new old engine that was stripped and inspected, mew seals, gaskets, chains etc etc, all new sensors, stands me at a few quid

Hi all,
Decided to let my speaker pods go, as im not that much into speakers tbh...starting at 99p :), im not expecting a super sale as these are not audioscape pods, but will no doubt make a wecome addtion to someones car regardless
-
Just now, Keyo said:In regards to speaker size you had to ask audioscape to cut out size od speaker otherwise they would come holeless and you would cut the size yourself to suit- (6.5 I think) was pretty much the biggest size you could ask to be cut so maybe cutting out the 7 inch caused the issues .
Cheers, been a usefull chat 🙂 i really do need to find the tweeter holders now!

Cheers, will trim it up, msgd Pete as wel ;)....mine defo is the same casing but appears to have been modded, or as mentioned is a prototype?
-
8 minutes ago, Keyo said:Probably not thinking about it as im sure they made some early ones first without window switch housing - not sure to be honest, If you cant find the grills buy something like this
Then do a small stamp into the grill to house audioscapes decal will be around £15 a pair delivered. Pete Aspery contact him on FB if you want a set of the decals. Could also paint the wood or get some cheap self adhesive velvet off ebay.
Cheers might just do that, having a quick measure again it looks like these will need a 7" speaker cover so 6.5" speaker, assume all audioscapes are built for 6.5" speakers?

Engine is destined for another corrado with a very straight / rust free shell 🙂 with some other subtle mods...namely bigger brakes
