thank you! i used both, the filter and colored leds. but i installed 2 white and 1 red filter to get rid of the spot. btw: i have 2 sets of LCD leds with sockets laying around. 1 blue and 1 red. if any1 is interessted in those ..... PM me ;)

take off the gauges. you just need to pull them and they will come of. Remove the screws in the circles first !!! remove the screws on the circuit board and get it out off the cluster housing remove the screws on the backside to take off the white lcd-housing. in the LCD-housing is a gree film, take it out. put the LCD back in the right way (remember the way you took it off) put it all back together and replace the stock bulbs with some colored LEDs or replace the green film with a red / blue (what ever do you like) and keep the stock bulb. thats all :D

finished the 2nd hvac unit and also installed 2 LED

im in the process of the second one by using the spider thingy this time. first step is done, i cracked off a lil piece of every leg and put a flat led in. the falt leds fit perfect the ports where the spider legs where pluged in.

250 bucks :shock: thats about 367 Euro !!!!!!!!!! why so much ???

actually they are easier to get over here. thats why people even more have them instead of LM

i found a shop who sells really nice replicas in 8x17 in the Netherlands, but they dont come with any kind of opinion so there is no chance for me to run them legal over here in germany. :bad-words:

a few days ago i read somewhere in the i-net they made some really nice replicas in Italy. They call them Lemans design but i cant find a company name or a shop where to order them. They look very close to the original BBS Lemans. Who knows anything about it ......????

the early style control is completly different. there is just 1 bulb and you need a new foile with the symbols because this foile is green colored.

you can also use different colors like blue with red spots in the knobs

some of you guys may already know what i've done to the interior of my corrado. ddi gauges and changed the lights of all switches to red. but i was always not satisfied with the hvac unti. it hasnt a smooth illumination. so i went to change this and here is a lil description of what i have done so far. first of all i bought another hvac unit the other week to modify this and keep the original untouched till its all done. i used about red 6 LED

recently i saw BBS is selling tons of BBS Le Mans (LM090) in Japan for all the rice burner in 7.5 x17 ET48 5x100. unfortunately i cant speak Japanese or know how to get them :(

currently im going with a badgeless grille with VR6 badge but people always tell me it would look better with a stock grille and chrome VW badge. i also went with a painted stock grille 2 years ago but its not my cup of tea .....
