  1. Thoroughly enjoyed last night! (Obviously!) Still cant believe I brought it home even after being last on the first lap. After doing some testing during the week I decided that a gearbox upgrade seems to count to nothing, so reverted to a stock transmission and spent that 'PI' on a turbo kit! Glad I did that now! Although it was quite lairly at Motegi the race before - drift league anyone!? :D Damn shame swiftkid bombed, I know how that feels :censored: I actually enjoyed the 'warm up' races more as there was much more fun and banter going down, everything went a bit quiet with the league race. I saved all the replays too, so will try and post some pics soon (including the one at Motegi where I took to the grass (and some) at the first corner to avoid hitting everyone - completely outbraked myself!)
  2. It was a one-lap-wonder with qually tires and 3 laps of fuel! :D Seriously though, I think it was 1:33, I might be wrong...and it was only one lap at best.
  3. Right, had a little play last night messing around with setups etc. In the end I found out that I could lap quicker with the stock setup, rather than trying to be clever and lower/tweak the car etc, even the gear ratios appeared to make no difference, I must be doing something wrong! Anyway, here's a couple of cool pics after I have painted my Borbet's and slapped a couple of decals on. I've also tweaked my router to ensure that all xbox live traffic is directed straight to the xbox, not convinced this will help though, as I rarely play xbox and have the computer on at the same time. 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfcorr.jpg[/attachment:3g8kge7x]corr1.jpg[/attachment:3g8kge7x]
  4. Sweet! Apologies for not reading the first page! Doh! I guess if anyone want to race during the week or whenever we can post on here to ogranise.... I'll be working on some setups & paint tomorrow night, also need to check my damn router - cant use that as an excuse again! Hahahaa
  5. Thats the spirit! Hehehe Looks like there's gonna be alot more people wanting to race this Sunday, anyone know if we are going ahead with teams or shall we have two hosts if we have more than 8 players!?
  6. I watched the replays the other night, and took a few pics whilst doing so. It sounds like its going to be alot more competitive on Sunday as everyone is busy testing their car setups during the week, should be alot of fun!!! 7. That would be "The Hub" :notworthy: He needs a 288mm or Brembo brake upgrade!
  8. Great title background  Can we access the replays and take photos also? Yes, if you go to leaderboard on the Forza menu, then push x until you get a friends list (twice) highlight my name and then push A, select go to storefront and all the pictures and replays are on there. Making a couple more videos but it takes ages as I have to encode them from a single camera angle, upload them to FM3 website one at a time, download them to my computer, muck around in movie maker and then post then up to youtube. Shame you cant just rip them straight off the xbox hard drive onto a USB stick it would be alot quicker! Yet another video, this time the hub demos the corkscrew at Leguna Seca Cool, I will give it a go tonite, and try and upload some pics too! Who's the silver corrado that 'didn't demo the corkscrew'
  9. Great title background  Can we access the replays and take photos also?
  10. I am sure the 'flying Corrado' was initally (accidently of course) caused by myself and either switfkid or mattski who lost it on the exit of the previous corner, at which point I decided to pounce! Could of sworn I got through cleanly though  Thanks for posting the vids and pics btw, I am itching to go racing again!
  11. Hehehe! ****ing annoying it was! Especially in the first race when I had it all under control ;-) not sure what happened the 2nd time, everyone dissappeared and then I couldn't re-join the session. Great fun when I was racing though, looking forward to next week - will have the tv mounted on the back of the garage door! Hahaha!
  12. I'm up for this, sunday night suits me fine too...I'm off to tweak tune my Corrado DOWN to 400
  13. but selling 4x6" D90 its a little bit difficult. All of us want larger wheels :brickwall:[/quote:3o9tsuo9] With this 'air-cooled narrow front track' look proving popular you might be ok...
  14. No fitting issues at all, they fit the standard 5x100 hubs by way of a spacer/adapter that adjusts the offset, I reckon the actual PCD of the wheel is 5x112, but the adapter is supplied with the wheel to achieve the correct PCD of the hub and the correct offset. Hope that helps.
  15. Not really a Corrado related update, but me and the wife picked up a our new (its actually hers) daily/family car at the weekend, we think its rather nice so wanted to post it on here (it still a VW!) Its a Golf Mk4 GTi 1.8T, its fitted with a few goodies, including a full genuine anni kit, BBS RC's, Miltek zorst and KW V2's! The previous owner was a fellow dubber so has looked after it rather well. We wont be doing much to it (as its just how we want it) other than replace the horrible horrible walnut trim! 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfIMG_0189.jpg[/attachment:1nx86w3k]IMG_0191.jpg[/attachment:1nx86w3k]
  16. Just picked my copy up at lunch, cost me a tenner as I had a £30 gift card from my birthday (way back in July!) :D I too will spending all evening (once the boy is in bed) playing it, cant wait to but a 'new' corrado, looks sweet from the pics in the earlier posts!!! Might even treat myself to a Scirocco too!!
  17. Thanks for the comments chaps! This week my winter projects arrived, the first one being the upper inlet manifold, which I am going to paint/polish. This wasn't on my to do list, but I got it for what I consider a very good price, so didn't want to turn it down, even it is sits in the garage for a few months until I get round to it (which it probably will!) 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSC_0027s.jpg[/attachment:2bzn7d0c] The second item being (which was next on my list) a rear axle that I am going to strip/re-condition and rebuild, just like I did at the front. Thanks to Stuey & Josh for getting this to me :) . I was originally going to just replace just the calipers etc, but have decided to do the rear bushes aswell, so I thought the best way to do this is to get hold of another axle, build it up, then just swap it over when ready. DSC_0029s.jpg[/attachment:2bzn7d0c] Now I just need to get hold of all the new parts!
  18. Sorry dood, I didn't see this post. Thanks for the comments, all the hard graft is paying off. The new passat door handles are a massive improvement over the stock ones! As for the brakes, yes the discs were the wrong way round originally. They had stickers on them saying 'left' and 'right' but that assumes the person that stuck them on knows what they are doing! I spoke to BD in the end as I was convinced they were wrong and they should 'trail' and not 'lead'. Turned out I was right, so I had to take the whole lot off again and swap them over :censored:
  19. This wouldn't happen to mr a certain Mr Munyard would it? We met at Brands Hatch A LONG time ago and we watched Ken Lark put his Raddo round that track to good effect! I've still got my C, had it for 10 years now!! (My name is Ben and my car is the blue one parked next to yours...) 20. They are starting to feel very good. I've been taking it easy as I've replaced the hoses and one hard line, just in case I get any leaks, but so far so good. I used the eezi-bleed thing which appears to of worked very well, and required very little effort! Both front bearings were very worn also so its all gotta help in improving the ride. Loving that pic in you sig Zak!
  21. Finally, finally, finally I have got the front brakes done, the other side required a new hardline as the union was completely siezed! Yesterday I put the colour-coded passat door handles & mechs on, they fit perfectly and are sooooo much smoother than the originals!!
  22. Lofl! Glad you didn't! Hehe were you in your C as I don't remember seeing another 'rado in the car park?
  23. Yes it was! but I was actually in Mothercare with the wife and boy (honest!)
