    Hi

    I've got a late model G60 with the twin LCD display clocks. Now I'm thinking that my fuel gauge is faulty as it doesn't go back to zero when the engine is turned off and doesn't move at all unless you bang it. :).

    Anyway, will a late model VR6 gauge pod fit my car (they look the same except for the red hands) and more importantly, will it be calibrated correctly? (Don't know if the VR6 had a larger tank or different speed sensor etc)

    Finally, is there anyway of changing the odometer reading as the new clocks will be reading way lower milage than the car has done and I'm not into that sort of dishonesty.

    P.S. Adrian Flux may give the smallest quote but they also give the biggest headache with paperwork and mistakes to the policy. :mad:

    Hello tricky! What C have you got? I spend a lot of time in Farnham so may have seen you about...

    Just bought the blue G60 as owned and sold by G60 TBA, and JT.

    JT just pipped me to the post but I got it in the end. :D

    I've only been around the town centre twice in it as I've got to raise it up a bit coz the front spoiler just loves to scrape the tarmac on our shoddy roads. :(

    Hi

    Into my 1st week of owning a C, 92 G60 if it helps.

    2 things really bug me, the lights and the wipers.

    Did a search and found out about the uprated loom, and the Lupo Gti wipers.

    But, seeing as I don't have any washer jets on my bonnet, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fit some on the wiper blades themselves?

    I know the storm single wipers do a kit for it but haven't seen one in the flesh and haven't seen it done for a pair either.

    Clean the pipe and hose with some brake cleaner spray to get rid of oil, before you attach them togheter.

     

    I´m pretty sure you´ll get sorted! :)

    Nice one.

    I trimmed the edge of the pipe nice and square, cleaned all of the surfaces until dry, reversed the pipe so the weaker end fixed on the metal part rather than plastic and it's great now. Even managed to find the original jubilee clip in the engine bay. :)

    Also, found the start of a part number 535 145 --- so I know which one to buy to replace it if it goes again, cheers Tempest.

    Now for some fun.

    Thanks for your reply.

    The end of the hose is slightly torn so the jubilee clip slips off of the end when I fully tighten it.

    Am I able to cut 10mm off of the hose and try to reposition it or is it a pre shaped hose meaning it would be a bad idea?

    Does anyone know what this hose is called/part number and where I can get a replacement from cheap?

    Hello

    Just drove home with my newly aquired Corrado G60 today, gave it a little oomph around a roundabout and heard a squealing noise followed by a distinct lack of power.

    I pulled over to find a pipe has popped off, I put it back on and drove home carefully but without the jubilee clip it came off again.

    Here is a picture of where it came off.

    The hose looks a little tatty at the end.

    What is the hose called and what does it do?

    Will my engine have knackered?

    Where can I buy a replacement from if I need to?

    Thank you for you wisdom. I'd do a search for it but don't know what it's called.
