  1. I am also interested if it is still available (guessing it's not though).
  2. I found it! The same owner has it and it is in for paint! Oh the joys (it worries me how happy this makes me).
  3. Hi all, Firstly, please forgive me if this is not posted in the correct section. I am looking for my old Mystic Blue Storm, I sold it back in 2009 (I think). It was a cracking car and was totally original. The milage was high but it never missed a beat! I sold it to a chap from Manchester who I believe was a member on here. I have tried emailing him recently but I have had no reply. According to the DVLA website it was SORN in September this year. Registration M110 LBB... I know I sound like a stalker but I always regretted selling this car, here's to hoping...
  4. Exactly what I thought too, I will stick to my guns. The R32 "upgrade" just seems such a cost effective move now and I can see a lot of people going that route. Cheers guy's.
  5. Hey all, I have been pondering on an R32 transplant but I don't want to do it to the Storm because it is just too original and is full of history. I had the car for sale but then decided to keep it and have had a lot of interest since. What is general feel about such a thing? i.e. Restore the Storm as original and later buy a cheap Rado for the transplant? I was also considering advertising for a swap rather than selling, maybe for regular VR6? I know the Storm is not really any different but it more the history of the car and the originality that I think is worth keeping and the "Storm" badge just add's that little extra. Any advice would be welcomed, Jamie
  6. If these are still available I would like one. Thanks! Jamie
  7. Thats fantastic, it will all help as I will take a copy of this thread down to the garage with me tomorrow (hopefully as having a a nightmare with some parts that i ordered). Also I think the car looks much cleaner without the side/bump strips. Did you replace all screws along the way as all the headlight fixings etc on the slam panel on mine as just rust but I have purchased the majority but just found it pointless to switch them now when its getting dismantled to be sprayed. Oe more question... Who took the windows out? Autoglass (or similar)? We discussed this and he said he would get Autoglass in but i'm just curious as to how you went about it. You are going to get me harrassing you with questions from now on :( , I will try and retain myself! Thanks for that though, I'm sure it will help me and many others! **EDIT** See it has started already... Q) And how long did the full job take (including set backs etc). Again sorry for the interrogation but this is all new to me. :D

Yep the Corrado Club of Great Britain. It's not so much a forum, although we do have a members only section on our web site, but a 'real life' club. We have stands at all the major shows and are happy to help anyone who wants to arrange stands at more local shows or even to arrange a local meet. We issue a half yearly club magasine along with newsletters to keep members up to date on club activities and have club merchandise etc. Our web site is corradoclub.org although it is a 'little' out of date. We are however working hard behind the scenes to get a more user friendly maintainable site and the volunteers to maintain it. Things are progressing :) Many club members and committee alike use here, the Corrado Forum, so you will see the CCGB mentioned quite a bit. We would love to have you join us too. We are not in competition with the Corrado Forum, more on a 'slightly different parallel' I see, I will definately have a look. I have heard it mentioned before but as I am only just really getting into the forum/club side of things online I have never came across it. Sounds interesting though. :notworthy:

That would actually be good Walesy, It would save you raking through your CD wallet (full of cd's) to find one of the five cd's that you ever actually listen to! I have never seen a Golf with one!

What sort of tunes do you like then? Got some 90's rock music for authenticity in mine :D That would be great, do me a copy :D And maybe some Johnny Cash?
  12. Lovely car, you have taken the route that I am hopefully taking. My mirrors need replacing too! Dam things. I am glad to have read this topic as it gives me some assurances over my plans. Great work and top job, you are a lucky man.

I actually quite like it, cassettes remind me of retro! I might even get some cassettes so I can use the box!
  14. It might sound strange but I thought i recognised it with the Borbet's on. Your car is one of the reasons I wanted one. I couldn't find the magazine to check if it was yours. Very nice car, actually looks even better with the BBS's on, I didn't think it could look any better. Nice to see how far it has come along, good work. 8)
