I have tried it and it works pretty well along with a bit of satin black paint,however it only takes a small impact to crack the filler, but it can be re-done no probs.

Ok,bought a Meguiars wash mit from Halfords this morning so be good excuse to use it! I will be there.

I think there originally would have been a metal surround around dissy cap.It plugs on there.Don't think you will have any problems without it.

Darren, I have to be totally honest but I really dont need any as i was buying for stock as the ones on the Nugget are great with 2 new lenses and with 7 weeks off work due to my accident recently and not much sick pay coming i'm kinda glad I missed them. I know i'm strange :lol:

 

Am sure they'll go if you whack them on ebay or here though.

16x7.5 O.Z Polaris Alloy Wheels.4 bolt fixing, fitted with 205x45 tyres , 2 with 2-3mm tread, other 2 need replacing. Wheels in good condition, a little blistering of laquer but not bad at all & 1 centre cap dis-coloured. £150 + post

I adjusted catch on lower panel,however you may need to adjust hinge bolts if problem occured after tailgate removal.try catch first though,easy enough to do.

I found i had to adjust tailgate to close a bit tighter to get them aligned spot on

Hi all,i have just bought a Mk2 Golf 1990 8v as a little restoration project.Its nothing special but it has a set of Pirelli alloys fitted which are in pretty good condition.I would like to replace them with something more original such as 15in BBS.Has anyone any idea of there value & or would be interested in them.I realise some of you on here own Mk1,s.BTW Corrado is not going anywhere !
