Hi guys. Just seen this thread - thanks Walesy. I have sent R1chy99 a few PMs about the car, before writting this. I am pretty gutted to have got rid of it, but we have a baby on the way, and the C just isn't much cop with that, and I was offered a "sensible family run-about/commuter" that was too good to miss, so the C had to go now. Also the missus will be giving up work when the baby arrives, and so £200 - £250 a month on petrol commuting to work just isn't on any more. In a bit of a panic about it all at the moment! If I do ever have any money to spare, ever again, I will get another C, or maybe an S3 (do they do 5 door S3s?!). I hope you do go for the car R1chy99, I may see you about in it as you are local. Take it easy everybody. Ho Ho Ho and all that. Jim

Ive turned into a old fart since ive had the C ????

I am afraid that I drive like a complete nutter in my C. The missus is always going mad at me for it. Every time I get into it am I trying to be sensible and stick to speed limits, but I just can't. I have all that power, I hate people tailgating me, and I am always flooring it to overtake traffic I am stuck behind for miles, and to loose the a**hole who is 2 inches off my rear bumper all the time. (the same bloke.... follows me everywhere!.... not realy  ) I am more dangerous in the C than I am on my ZX9! I just can't stop it. -

timg60, I am in St Columb. Drive mine daily. I see a blue G60 around Camelford/Tintagel quite regularly, and I have seen a red, H reg., valver in Truro a few times - very clean. I know a guy in Marazion with a red VR, and a guy in Newlyn with a silver VR. -
I am in St Columb - near Newquay. If there is going to be a meet-up let me know!!

Polyurethane or VAG Rear suspension bushes???
Jimbob1970 replied to corradophil's topic in Drivetrain
I recently went for Poly bushes all-round, and I prefer the car now, to how it was. However, the original bushes were all pretty knackered, and I also had other worn mounts etc replaced at the same time, so I can't say what new OEM bushes would have done. That doesn't help much does it?.... -
adamukcorrado, Question from the very mechanically dumb..... What relays did you clean, and where were they?!!!

Just in case anyone else encounters the same problem, I will post my findings. One fuse had blown, number 16, which is a 15A fuse. This took out my sunroof and my rear spoiler. The handbook said that this fuse was nothing to do with the sunroof, the sunroof is supposed to be fuse number 4. But whatever, the sunroof wouldn't work until I replaced number 15. All's well. 8)

mistrall, Cheers mate, I will get to it this evening. At least I can still drive it!

corradowales, Thanks for looking anyway matey!!

Thanks for that Corradowales, I saw that post when I searched.... There is no mention of which fuse drives the sunroof, but it says that 2 seperate fuses drive the spoiler.
-
I have the fuse box cover with me, but I can't make any sense out of that! I will have to wait until tonight to dig out my owner's manual.... Cheers anyway.

Hello, I have used the SEARCH but can't find the answer to this. Is the Sunroof run from the same fuse as the spoiler? I have a broken spoiler, it is half up (or half down) depending on your point of view! It won't work off the switch under the dash either. I have just relalised that I have also lost the sunroof, it won't tilt or slide. Both were OK before, fully functioning, so I am guessing that I have blown a fuse? I can't see any reference to what fuse drives the sunroof. I saw that the spoiler uses 2 different fuses, but I still have dash warning lights working, and interior lights..... Help!

Cheers Kev. I will check my alignment, and search for other posts on the alignment issue.

I did a long motorway journey over the weekend, and my sunroof is bl**dy noisy at anything over 70 mph, when the sunroof is closed. It really got on my tits after 6 hours.... Mine doesn't leak or anything, and it tilts and slides fine, there is just stacks of wind noise through the roof when the sunroof is closed. Any ideas anybody?
