  1. Hi Dox. No idea what they'd be worth. Not fussed about them being dull. £40 for a pair? Can collect or add a tenner on for postage. I'm in no rush
  2. Ah that explains it. Thanks Dox. How much do you want for them and where abouts in Cheshire are you? I'm just on the Cheshire/ Derbyshire border
  3. Retired the corrado 4 years ago when I moved up a steep farm track. Not ideal for a lowered corrado. Anyway. Me and the other house owners up there have clubbed together and put some tarmac strips down so it's time she came out of retirement. The last time I drove her properly the drivers side wiper arm sheared off. Can't post this in parts wanted for some reason so if anyone has a spare wiper arm floating about please let me know. Cheers John.
  4. Hi Rob. I'll take the heater controls off your hands if you still have them available? There are a few other bits and bobs I could do with too but can't remember off the top of my head and my car is at home. If you do have the controls pm me your details and I'll come back to you with other parts needed. If they available maybe we can do a deal. Cheers John
  5. Enjoyed meeting everyone yesterday. My kids were more than happy with the choice of venue! Had a belting time on the bouncy castles and park.
  6. Good point. I knew it couldn't be that simple.
  7. Am I right in thinking if a car does get written off you can get your payout, buy it back from the insurers and get it repaired yourself anyway or have I dreamt that?
  8. The draw may have closed but Chris Knott Insurance still give a cracking deal and great service. My renewal from another company came in at £504.72 but after a bit of ringing around and to-ing and fro-ing with my current insurers I got the price down to £325.00 with Chris Knott. Big thanks to Paul who gave me his direct dial number when I first called and put up with me pestering him to drop the price. I'm not one for doing that normally but a £180 saving is not to be sniffed at!
  9. Michael Dunlop is absolutely Mental!! Watching the Superstock race last night and the last lap he put in was astonishing. Smashed the lap record for that classification and was only something like 3 seconds off the race bred machines on what's basically a standard road bike. The was a clip showing the guy he was battling for the lead with going round a left with his front wheel bouncing out to the right that made me soil myself. God only knows what he was feeling at that time ---------- Post added at 12:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:31 PM ---------- Michael Dunlop is absolutely Mental!! 10. I'm getting all excited about this lovely summery weather were having and it reminds me I still cant open my drivers window. Has anyone anywhere got a spair pair of window rollers/ castors knocking about to save me from overheating?

    Why?

Absolutely gutted for you! Can't understand what goes through somebodys head when doing mindless acts of vandalism like this. Echo what robrado said and take heart that oneday the little ba$t@rds will take Karma square on the chin and have it happen to them. Hard to keep the faith at the best of times with a Corrado and even worse when something like this happens I imagine. Keep your chin up though!
  12. Well, I took the plunge and got one. Fitted in about an hour last night and I can safely say I'm a pretty happy chap. I don't know how it would compare to a new OEM front mount but I'm well chuffed with it. My mount had completely fallen to bits, the top bolt and plate were just rattling around and not far from failing altogether I reckon so it must have been deteriorating for a while. I'm struggling to think back to when my car felt so good to drive, if ever!
  13. I'd like in on this. 1 vr6 set for me please. Cheers
  14. Cheers for the input guys. Don't suppose anyone knows ballpark cost tor OEM front mount? Can't see it being massively cheaper than VT
  15. Hi. Mr front engine mount is completely buggered so I'm looking at replacing it. Are the Vibratechnics ones worth the money in everyones opinion for a standard 2L 16v? Can get a febi one for approx £35 incl vat delivered and Vibratechnics are approx £150 ish. Just thought I'd gauge opinion before I go gung ho and buy it then realise it offers very little benefit for a standard 2L 16v Cheers John
  16. Still on the hunt for some of these!! Anyone? Wouldn't mind getting my drivers window open now the weather is picking up :)
  17. Got ya cheers. Was just doing some reading up on them. I take it you could cut the holes into the pods I.e. there is room to mount the switches in them? Potentially interested if you're willing to post.
  18. When you say early style pods does that mean they only fit door cards from an early interior?
  19. 33. Had my valver for 12 years now and used as a daily driver all those years.
  20. That is absolutely horrific!! Reminds me of a top gear comment Clarkson once made about driving a Mitsubishi Evo through halfords and coming out with a number of 'additions' stuck to it
  21. Spot on. Thanks for that. Will have a good look at it over the weekend.
  22. Thanks David I know there are posts galore relating to engine mounts and I've had a look through on search. I believe the test is set off with the handbrake on and see how much movement there is on the engine. How does this tell you which is knackered ie. any visual things to look out for) or should you replace all 3 as a matter of cause if doing one?
