Maybe if the budget allows next year you could send out lumps of coal to certain people if they aint so keen on receiving a card showing a car we all take alot of pride in. There's my tupence
Cheers all and have a great christmas

I had a quote not to long ago the guys worked it out as 50 hours labour which included smoothing body work ,removing windows, trim but not the engine all for roughly £2500.
Its definitely worth seeing previous jobs the sprayer has done for peace of mind as i have seen a few shody jobs in the past!
My vr is dragon green it was registered january 94 but came into this world in 93 its possible some cars in lc6p were registered earlier than 94

Today - Green L reg in Chippenham, around 10.45am, heading towards town from Calne way possibly? Had smoked aftermarket rear lights
Damn sure that was me, i take it you weren't in the rado otherwise i need to be a bit more vigilant, dont see many around chippenham

Could be the roll bar linkage being broken had exactly the same symptoms on my vr on both sides when this happened it gets worse when turning, bugger is it jabs into the cv boot making a mess of it.

First spot of the year, dark coloured c just coming out of chippenham this morning about 7ish got a wave! have to say made my day after a crap week at work , dont think i have seen your car about before.
-
I think they are 205/55 will have to double check but they need some lower profile ones as they look a little chuncky and the rims get a little lost.
These were badly corroded and needed sanding and spraying several times took the guys almost 2 weeks to finish after being told two days, but they did a bang up job.
-
Well the vr is 16 years old today, i have owned him since july and been meaning to put up a few photos for others to see.
Now considering the occasion i have bought me/ the car some shiny new feet, the rx11 have just come back from a re furb and have to say im rather chuffed with them.
Sadly i cant put them on yet as the locking nut key has gone walkies
-
Cheers for that i will have a go at it later in the week. has had me a little confused to say the least

Bit unsure on this one the passenger side heated seat stopped working. I checked the relays and swapped them over now both seats work but now only give off a small amount of heat.
simply i dont get it any advice welcome.

Spotted blue c this morning on the A420 between chippenham and ford i was in my green vr? any takersMe! Ahem, well, probably me - my Rado is dark green, so it depends how "blue" it was
That morning I passed a nice looking rado in a light green/blue colour on that stretch of road at about 8.30am - was that you?
You see, if Vr's weren't so fast we would have more time to judge colours better: Its red, no its black, no its green, sh#t its gone!!!
yep that was me, wasnt to sure off the colour just saw this fast moving familiar shape coming towards me!
Theres more corrados around our neck of the woods than i realised and a lot seem to be of greenish shade.
no doubt will spot you another time!

Cheers guys i thought they would fit, think my c is going to have some shiney new rims very soon.
-
Simple one, wondering if any one knows if the anniversary mk3 golf bbs split rims fit on a vr6 c.
Its the off set im worried about and am unsure if i need to use spacers or not.
Has Any one tried these rims before???

i wrote this on another topic on water leaks as i had the same problem!
Check under the ecu just under the windscreen, there is a little hole dont know if a rubber bung goes there but i blocked mine up with a small screw and some dum dum. problem is now solved hope this helps.
-
Hi, a simple thing to check for as i had this problem is just under the ecu is a hole where all the rain runs into.
Not sure if a rubber bung goes in there but i used a very short screw and some dum dum, and the problem is now solved.
Check this first as its quick and easy and saves ripping out the interior as i did.

Quick question just received my milltek catback system after a months wait, the link pipe replaces the center box im just curious about pros and cons of keeping or removing the muffler. I have a near standard vr6 so no turbo or what not to worry about
